Through ep3 last night. Getting better, and the baddie has a name now.
Lots of storylines to keep up with, with everyone being split up.

My wife, definitely not a fan of the 2 kids going Emily Rose/Jennifer Carpenter. The more horror themes this season are not her style.

Got a little better as it went on. Still just a whole lot going on.

Did anyone else get an Alex, from A Clockwork Orange, vibe from One?

Yes! I also thought his voice sounded a lot like that of Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"

Eleven is a girl

Just wrapped up E7. Wife didn't like it. She wasn't a fan of the horror-ish themes of the season, but overall was liking it.
She didn't care for E7. It was pretty drawn out, longer than it probably needed to be.

Damn, I'm stupid. In my defense, I'd had a tough day at work and was pretty much out of my mind from fatigue. Eek

Just finished part two. I thought it was actually pretty good. I was surprised that there was another cliffhanger for yet another season. I thought they were going to wrap it up. I’ll be watching the next season, also.

We watched the season finale this weekend.

Overall more good high quality stuff from the Duffer brothers. Expect all hell to break loose (literally) in the final season coming up.

I really liked the well thought out plan to take on Vecna and I also like that no plan survives first contact.

A few quibbles that nagged at me:
The NINA guards only have mp5s and no grenades. That ballistic shield crew would have gone down quick with a couple of grenade throws.

The stoner buddy was more annoyance than comic relief.

Mike, Will and Johnathan were a bit more sidelined than I preferred.

It's been discussed earlier in the thread. The next season will be the last.

Prediction, the long hair kid (Eddy Munson) will be back. He died in the upside down, so maybe there are different rules. Obviously Max has to come back too. So maybe they're together somewhere, and that's why Eleven can't find her.

While we're at it, I'll predict that Will will become Jack Handy and stand in front of a mirror all day. What the hell is up with that character. I mean. I guess we know, right? Every show, every episode is the new Hollywood law. But it's tough to watch.

Ok. That's my dork prediction. Guess we'll know in.... a few years!?

RE: Eddie, not so sure. I guess Barb died in the real world, but was there in the upside down (or was that just a Vecna mirage?)

Think Max might be gone, El not finding her & just seeing darkness makes me think she's not coming back.

Will, a bit of a key to things still being bad, since he can sense it when he's in Hawkins?

Hopefully not as long of a wait until S5, otherwise it'll be Stranger Things: The College Years Razz

Will being gay doesn't bother me. It's the heavy handedness of the presentation that bothers me. I actually enjoyed how they handled Robin's sexuality.

I guess since Will likes Mike they think they can't be that subtle.

I must be dense, as I didn't pick up on that at all.
Less obvious than Robin, since her & Steve had their banter over it.
