any one been?

saw this tour in DC Friday and have tickets to see them again on Tues here in RVA,

fantastic show,

2 original members of the 80's King Crimson line up with Steve Vai taking Fripp's place and Danny Carey taking Bruford's drum,

all but one song played was from Discipline, Beat or 3 of a Perfect Pair,

long tour cycle, they are touring US and Canada for 3 months

I haven't kept track of Fripp. Is he still around? Retried from playing guitar?

I saw them about 1982 On The Pier in NYC. It was a great show. I think I may still have a King Crimson button that was handed out by WPLJ at the concert laying around somewhere.

Adrian Belew was wearing a light pink suit and the rest of the band was well dressed and well groomed . I remember thinking the 70s was definitely over and the New Wave look was taking over…

It's hard, REAL hard to support the sky-rocket concert prices now days but I wouldn't mind to see them on this tour.
Wife and I saw them (King Crimson) in the 90's some time I think.
It was a great performance.
Certainly a unique sound but it grows on you if you really listen.

Cool

I was an early prog rock fan back in late 60s early 70s and KG was always a favorite. Glad to see that kind of music is still going.
