I saw them about 1982 On The Pier in NYC. It was a great show. I think I may still have a King Crimson button that was handed out by WPLJ at the concert laying around somewhere.
Adrian Belew was wearing a light pink suit and the rest of the band was well dressed and well groomed . I remember thinking the 70s was definitely over and the New Wave look was taking over…This message has been edited. Last edited by: clang,

It's hard, REAL hard to support the sky-rocket concert prices now days but I wouldn't mind to see them on this tour. Wife and I saw them (King Crimson) in the 90's some time I think. It was a great performance. Certainly a unique sound but it grows on you if you really listen.

I was an early prog rock fan back in late 60s early 70s and KG was always a favorite. Glad to see that kind of music is still going.
