Excellent series. Gary Oldman's best IMO. Give it a shot.

It’s a good show. Season 1 was better than Season 2. I like the continuing threads between seasons touching on backstory.

Good series to watch liked getting the character backstories. Season 3 and 4 are being shot back to back for release in ‘23. Now to wait.

Finished season two. One of the most fun series in a long time. It's incredible the LACK of woke horseshit injected into this one.

Netflix is so fucked, that I actually notice the lack of fucked when I'm not on netflix.

Except for some (sigh, a lot if I have to be honest) of the gun handling being complete shit (as the Brits would say), this is a fantastic series.

Season 3 is just as fantastic as 1&2. This is a great show on all levels AND season four is already filmed and ready to be released as soon as season three is milked for all it's worth.

Late to the party but a huge fan of this show! Great production, acting, humor, and drama. Gary Oldman as "Jackson Lamb" is tremendously entertaining.

If you have Apple+, this is must-see.

Great show. You can almost smell Oldman's character through your TV.

For anyone interested, there are at least 6 books in the Slow Horses catalog that the show is based on, and all are excellent.

I picked up this series on a recommendation and enjoyed the first season.

The second season was okay. Some good moments but in some ways it felt thin, with too many characters suddenly appearing only to move the plot forward a bit, and then killed or removed. The changes to the team felt contrived and poorly written. The dialogue was not nearly as good as Season 1, and I feel like they might start to lean into Lamb's foibles as a means to keep the show going. "Remember audience, this guy is gross and farts a lot..."

I just started Season 3 and actually turned it off due to boredom. It feels like they turned over the writing to the usual gaggle of hens that all do the same things:

- Write a scene and switch the roles of what would typically be a man and woman, with regards to the scene, so the man's dialogue feels off or overly emotional
- Write a scene that includes all kinds of high stakes evasion, only to have the two people RANDOMLY meet up in a huge city and continue their chase. You've given us scenic filler with zero stakes or payoff.
- Write scenes where the man is always a fucking blubbering idiot that leans on stupid jokes or buffoonery, while the woman is the cool, collected, obviously smarter, and uses a vast array of sarcastic overly-rude comments to bludgeon the man (and audience) with lack of character development or smart dialogue.

I don't think I can watch this season.
