There was an episode of Fargo, I reckon it was season 2, and I remember Nick Offerman playing a small role in one or two episodes. Anyhow, while watching said episode, I thought to myself, "Jesus, this is absolutely amazing acting". I don't want to look it up. But this episode made me believe that TV shows really shine in this particular format of one season "tells the whole story" format, ala True Detective. I don't need or want 9 seasons of one story.
