That's because she's not from Texas. She's from north of the Red River. But her accent was made up by Taylor Sheridon. He actually writes her lines in the accent.

Big fan of Yellowstone but the show has been awful this season. They are jumping the shark with Beth's character. Way over the top. Hippie chick needs to go. So far, disappointed. But that is only because it has been so good up until this season.

Again WAY too much drama, not enough meanigful plot or dialogue. The plot with the seduction of Jamie is ridiculous. I think this will be the final season.

^^^Yeah, it’s become a painfully slow soap opera. You can count on about 10 minutes of roping/wrangling set to a Ryan Bingham (Walker) song every episode.

This show is just laughable and so unrealistic it's not even entertaining.

The drama behind heading out for a day or two to round up some range cattle being portrayed as similar to boarding troop ships to head off to combat....

What a joke. There isn't a storyline on any character in the show that is even remotely believable.

I completely agree on Beth. It's actually been ridiculous for a couple seasons imo. The bar fight wasn't a huge stretch but the brawl with the hippie chick was just stupid.

Episode 5 is all screwed up in aspect ratio for us. Squashed in horizontally, making everyone look silly tall and skinny. Apparently a common issue with just this episode.

Does anyone have a fix?

I had to laugh last night when an army of cowboys and 3 cattle dogs were running a hundred or so cow/calf pairs down the road. Shit, I've done that with 3 cowboys and 1 cattle dog......and the dog did all the work.

Damn. After reading all these comments I feel like a total dumbass for liking to watch the show.
