I can't find a way to access that on the TV. Is that just on ipad?

I'll be giving it a 2nd chance tomorrow for the Sprint, AppleTV app on a Samsung tv

On Apple tv for the Sky Sports audio, you have to scroll down their F1 page for "Sky Sports" header.

The F1TV Fred will also be a blue picture/icon and Sky Sports will be a red picture/icon.

Tried for the Sprint. Must not be an option on the Samsung TV app.

After quali, I expect a Ferrari in the lead after the first couple turns.
GR was lucky to get back out just under the wire.

On your TV (I have a Samsung) after loading the Apple TV app, go left on your remote and you'll see some things pinned there. One of them is F1. Click on that and after it loads scroll all the way down to the bottom (past the Kids stuff and previous years) and you'll find the Sky Sports feed.
I don't think they are doing it for qualy but I watched the Sky feed for the sprint race yesterday.

Ah, thanks. Will try that next time.
I was trying to switch feeds once starting the F1TV broadcast.

As a Mercedes fan, this switch over to Apple TV sucks.

Just when the Silver Arrows look to have a high-performing car and two capable drivers, I am reduced to watching highlights on F1.com. I am NOT buying an Apple TV subscription just to watch F1.

Also…

What is Red Bull’s problem? Why can’t Max get off the line?

I already have Apple TV, so that's a positive, but pretty much everything else about the start of this F1 season sucks.

I give that race a 1/10.

This product is terrible. I don't mean terrible because some cars don't start, some cars don't finish.
I mean terrible because of the "whys" of why they don't start, don't finish.

I do hope that the teams and competitiveness improves across the season but I don't see how F1 gets themselves out of this dead-end alley that they have driven down this year with the regs.

I think the product could have been much improved, much more simply than what they have chosen.

As much as it's good to see all cars finish, some fragility is good to see.
Glad for a good finish for Cadillac, even if it was at the expense of multiple DNFs.

The midfield scraps weren't bad

Shame we won't get Portimao as a replacement for the canceled ME races.

The unintentional cancellation induced early break may be the best thing that could happen at this point.
Hopefully F1 management will get their heads together with the teams to sort out the best way forward.
Unfortunately politics (FIA) often interfere in the logical solutions.

They're supposed to have a big meeting before Japan to see about making any needed changes, I'm sure another will follow during the unintended break.

I'm loving the unreliability. It reminds me of the good 'ol days of racing. What doesn't remind me of the gold 'ol days is drivers losing 450hp after 30 seconds of battery power. Hopefully, the FIA can force through a rule knocking battery power down by half so the power can last twice as long.

In other news, IndyCar's Arlington Grand Prix around Cowboy's and Ranger's Stadium was everything Miami wishes it could be. Well worth your time looking up the full race tomorrow on YouTube.

This weekend is also the 12 Hours of Sebring to keep an eye out for.

So I click on "Chinese GP" and it goes to the flag being waved at the back of the field, a second later to the front as the lights go out, race on. No pre-race? I go back to the menu and don't see that, wtf? Back to the show and I see it's jumping ahead laps at a time.

I had clicked on "the race in 30 minutes". Well thanks, Apple TV, for your clumsy interface, I wasn't expecting fine print, didn't look for it. So there's a mistake not to make again, finding out the hard way.

F! 2026 is not what I was hoping for, at all ends of the product. Roll Eyes

I had just the opposite experience with Apple TV. When I clicked on the race it showed over 4 hours of play time!
I fast forwarded over an hour to get to the prestart.

As far as the race was concerned I thought the battle between MB and Ferrari was pretty good but the recharging of the battery is pure BS. The driver doesn’t need talent but instead needs to be a computer nerd to manage the power delivery and state of charge.

I sincerely hope they get off of this green bs and get back to racing with the scream of a V10 in my ears…

I would say, if you able, watch through F1TV instead of AppleTV.

Yeah, that took a while to FF to the actual race start.

I do like having AppleTV directly on the TV, vs F1TV being sideloaded via an attached Roku. My Roku remote seems to eat batteries & die at random.
