I’m so happy she is working out for them, Rush was my childhood and this is so cool!

Yes, she really did well. Glad to see they're back at it. I was worried about Geddy's voice. Its obvious he kept his chops up. Most people don't realize what it takes to sing for two and a half hours.
I have a couple of concerns however. Miss Nilles is a very good drummer, but as an artist playing someone else's part is not going to be satisfying in the long run. And, the boys are in their 70's. This tour and maybe another is all we're going to get. And finally no new music. I've heard both Alex and Geddy's work away from Rush and none of it compares. Neil was obviously the glue that makes the composition something special.

Saw the video with Aimee Mann "Time Stand Still". Geddy actually got up their for a minute. Needs to pace himself but hopefully he's just warming up and finds out he's still got it, mostly.
They are playing in Denver. Cheapest seat is 191 dollars. Floor seating front section is 1300. I paid 75 in 2002 and said, "Sorry boys I'm buying the DVD from here on out."

It looks like I’m going to see them In Detroit. My best friend has never seen them, that needs to be corrected. He isn’t available when Rush will be in Chicago. I figured my kid is already driving up there to see them, we might as well split the cost of driving. Unless my friend wants to take his plane there. That might be an option.

Have loved listening to Rush since being a young teen. Neil Peart is arguably one of the best rock drummers ever. The drumming in Tom Sawyer is arguably one of the most difficult routines to duplicate well if not exactly. Before seeing this thread, I watched a video on the utube of a guy that said learning it EXACTLY was extremely difficult.
This young lady clearly practiced due diligence in regard to memorizing and reproducing. If she can reliably duplicate drumming in songs like this, YYZ, etc, she won’t have to worry about finding work if and when Rush throws in the towel for good.
