Another show I like but feel guilty over is Two and a Half Men. (The ones with Charlie Sheen, not that other idiot.)

Gunsmoke— The B&W years.
We need more cops like Matt Dillon. A backhand when you need it, let go for just being stupid.
His best line is when he told a young squirrelly cowboy who was lying to him,,, Don’t make me take you out back and make an old man out of you.

while I get your sentiment and point,

I think the first thing Marshall Dillon should have done was shoot Festus,,

I'm sorry, I've been laughing my ass off, reminiscing about the good old days in the barracks while in Okanawa for a few hours now!

We'd rush back to the Barracks for lunch and toss on "Days of our lives". Nothing funnier than a bunch of big, bad-ass Marines all serious about a Soap Opera!

One Platoon was always back in the rear while the other ones were out training or deployed somewhere else (Thiland, Philippines, Korea...). We'd get back, and give our brief for our training, operations... It got to the point where at the end of the briefing, the Platoon that was back in the Barracks would give a "Days of our lives" briefing for what we missed while we were gone.

The Company CO would shake his head, look at us like we were a bunch of idiots, then walk out...

As for my current guilty pleasure for viewing:
I'm not a baseball fan in any way, but watching Brockmire. The one liners are a riot!

Nothing guilty about that. The wife and I watch that show. While on vacation I found a streaming channel that was nothing but old Adams Family reruns. Boy howdy that Carolyn Jones was a saucy mint.

New season on Netflix now. Smile

Gravity Falls (Disney and Hulu)

Great show that I watch with my sons that, to me, is/was unique in that it had an arc and stuck to it really well. Very rewatchable as there are a lot of little things that are missed on first watching.

The Greatest Showman. No clue how many times I’ve watched it. It must be watched with a good sound system though.
