Very neat episode. Never would've thought to 3d print solder to make your own PCBs.

The engineering that goes into this thing is as interesting as the total build itself.

Loved the hat tip to the TGUK trio in the 'credits'

The Tuned In podcast episode 114 is a two hour conversation with Richard Brunning. Really good discussion about his racing history and a lot of good info on Project Binky

35min breakdown on making their mill into a 3d solder printer

Edit: 13:30 on is just the full print run of the PCB.

Queued up to watch tomorrow.
I know a lot of people are upset at how long this has taken, but they're being meticulous & doing it in their spare time, as they can.
Richard apparently had a baby in the last year, so that takes up some of their available time as well.

Excited to see it still moving forward.

I watched a ton of episodes and thought it was pretty cool what they are doing. But it is taking forever! Way cool though.

“Our actions may be impeded...
But there can be no impeding our intentions or our dispositions. Because we can accommodate and adapt. The mind adapts and converts to its own purposes the obstacle to our acting.

The impeding to action advances action.

What stands in the way becomes the way.”

A bit 'clickbaity' but gives some [unverified] background on some of the project & its delays.

Who knew 40 minutes of building dash gauges could be that entertaining.

The level of detail involved in building your own gauges for your dash, just so they'll be exactly what you want, is amazing. I cannot imagine having that amount of patience.
