English Beat and/or General Public last night

I say and/or due to Dave Wakeling being the touring member, and was in each,

not a great show, sound wise, had some technical issues, sound was muddled, not mixed well but got better towards the end
he had to switch guitars way more than he normally does, and a lot of hand signals to the tech guys off stage,

played the hits, backing band was a bit different than the previous times we saw him,

overall a good time, with a very enthusiastic crowd

I want great sound quality at 1/3 the volume.

I've seen folks wearing the electronic shooting earmuffs. Might be an option.
The volume typically doesn't bother me

On Saturday night I went to see Creed with Mammoth and Sevendust at Shoreline Amphitheater. It was a great show by all 3 bands! I wasn’t familiar with Mammoth or Sevendust before but enjoyed both. Mammoth is apparently lead by Eddie Van Halen’s kid and he killed it. That boy can sing and play extremely well. Sevendust had a serious Korn vibe going on and it was rocking. Creed, of course, blew it up. The place looked sold out and was really into the concert. I don’t think they played anything except from the first 2 albums, also known as the best ones. Great show!

I'm going to this show by myself tonight.
One pit ticket with VIP club access to sit in the AC a bit between shows.
It's an indoor/outdoor venue.
Be my 3rd time to see both Live and Collective Soul.
CS is a true favorite band of mine.

My wife doesn't care for my alternative rock, although we see a lot of shows together.
I've taken my kids to a lot of shows since their early teens, over 200, but they are now in their 30s and have lives of their own.
We still go to shows now and then.

BIL and I are going to see The Offspring and Jimmy Eat World next Friday.
Pit with club access for that show as well.
It will be my 3rd time to see Jimmy Eat World and my 5th time to see The Offspring.

Just for giggles this was my first concert in 1978, I was 16.

Benefit of volunteering for the HS band program, get to see free shows.

Last night:
Sleep Theory
Tech N9ne
Wage War
Falling in Reverse

Hard to hear if you don't really know the bands, but a good show.

Devo/B52s tonight! Should be a fun show
We were going to sit outside the venue & listen to Lainey Wilson last night, but it rained all day.

a couple of weeks ago I was at a concert

small venue in Richmond Va

Deeper, from Chicago, was the opening act,
good stuff, lead sounded a bit like Robert Smith (Cure)

followed by Nation of Languages,

think Mark Hollis (Talk Talk) and Andy McCluskey (OMD) love child, as far as vocal, with a few other bands mixed up (could have sworn one song was part Ultravox's White China and some New Order blended together,

great show

Been a few years but we did a Cher concert the day before heading to Shands for my wifes surgery, actually a pretty good show,

Later the kiddo got me tickets to see Fleetwood Mac at the Hard Rock by Disney, you get right up on the band at the Hard Rock, it was awesome to be standing so close to Stevie Nicks while she sang...

FWIW, if you have David Byrne (Talking HEads) in your are soon, go,

saw him a few weeks ago in RVA, fantastic show,

the floor of the stage, and backdrop is a bit television type screen,

no fixed musicians, all the folks are constantly moving,

and it was fabulous
