Suspension of disbelief for the sake of time constraints. I used to TRY to shop at thrift stores, I'm tall but all torso, so I wear "normal" sized pants. But finding anything with sleeves to fit me was a rarity, so I was right there with you every time we see him just grabbing clothes so easily.

Ive' got a couple of friends that are Reacher-sized, one a former basketball player and the other an absolute unit, a human-ox....both will grumble about their problems of finding clothing to wear. Reacher's causal approach grabbing random clothing items would be more believable if they inserted one or, two times when he discovers that the location they're in 'happens' to have his size, thus I better grab it while I can.

So I've been sick at home the last few days and binged watched season 2. Tolerable when you're sick and have limited options. So where is episode eight that wraps this up? I'm left hanging after seven episodes? Really? "Fixed fortifications are monuments to mans stupidity" - George S. Patton

Re: Epp7 I was wondering if they had skipped the ‘capture’ of the 2 team members at the hospital. (From the book) Looks like they went a different direction, which so far seems okay. I’m a little bummed by the noticeable difference in quality writing (from season 1) , but as a fan of the books I’m still enjoying seeing the stories come to life. ___________________________ All it takes...is all you got. ____________________________ For those who have fought for it, Freedom has a flavor the protected will never know ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

What a disappointing season. I had high expectations after season 1. ^^^^^^^^^ Heck, I enjoyed Tom Cruise's two Reacher movies better than I did this season 2. _____________________________ "The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living." Not nearly as good as season 1 but had a cool 80's action vibe to it. Better than 99% of the anti white/anti male woke shit out now.

I have to admit episodes seven and eight were pretty good. __________________ "Owning a handgun doesn't make you armed any more than owning a guitar makes you a musician." -Jeff Cooper

I enjoyed the finale. I agree that season one was better, but season two was entertaining. Season three has already begun production - I haven't looked to see which book it will be based on.

I’ve read online a few places that season 3 will be based on “Worth Dying For”. I’m hoping that is true as it is one of my favorite Reacher books. ___________________________ All it takes...is all you got. ____________________________ For those who have fought for it, Freedom has a flavor the protected will never know ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ

I really really hate "just in the nick of time!" moments in movies and Tv shows, its predictable, cliché, lazy writing, makes me cringe and roll my eyes. That last episode was one just in the nick of time after another. Grrrr...

My wife and I were entertained. We don’t watch network tv at all, and look forward to a series like this. I understand the criticism, but it’s tough to find something better. I read all the Reacher books, up to a certain point, then lost interest. The Tom Cruise movies have been brought up, as expected. I was among those who decried Cruise in the role of Reacher, knowing well that Child literally built storylines around Reacher’s size and strength. I appear to be almost alone, however, in being a Tom Cruise fan—without qualification. The two Reacher movies with Cruise were both much better than this series with Alan Ritchson in the title role. Cruise may be much too small for the role, but he’s much more believable as a former U.S. Army officer, and leader of a CID unit. I’ve re-watched both Cruise movies. I doubt I’ll ever watch this series from Prime again. _______________________________________________________ despite them

^^^ I agree really enjoying Cruise in the role and didn't think his small stature affected the part. But I only saw one of those movies. I didn't know there were two. Now I have to figure out which one I didn't see.

Delta and SEALS should do away with their standard training and just send them to wherever the Special Investigators go.

I liked how the senator's private security detail of former SEALs and Rangers had a woman in it...

FYI 6: Jack Reacher (2012) from the ninth novel, One Shot, and Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016) from the eighteenth novel, Never Go Back. _____________________________ "The problems we face today exist because the people who work for a living are outnumbered by those who vote for a living."
