Farm Aid I, lived across town. Talked myself out of the crowds. Talking Heads once again about 200yds away, would have stretched my budget ~$18 as I recall. If the opportunity presents itself, Jimmy Buffett and Aerosmith are on a short list.

Problem with me is the multiple hundreds of dollars tickets run now. Having seen some of the best in their prime for 10% of currently available seats, ruins the show. Did it to see Neil Young, but I didn’t enjoy it $500 worth.

Hendrix should be on the top of my list, but I was still in elementary school when he died.

Of those that I ruefully 'missed' when I was an active concertgoer (not that they necessarily had a show nearby to miss in each case):

Stevie Ray Vaughan
BB King
Bad Company (twice I let tickets go to others because of conflicting schedules)
Miles Davis
ELO
Al DiMeola
Weather Report
Jaco Pastorius
Sex Pistols

Led Zepplin.

There was a concert date announced for Detroit in the fall of 1980 and the wife and I were planning on going. Bonham passed shortly thereafter and, of course, the concert never happened.

Oh, what might have been.

Pink Floyd was in the realm of do-able (I'm not going back for Elvis/Led Zep or others that died or quit before I was 10).

I've recently become a Depeche Mode fan, but I'm not going to Chicago to go see them.

As far as 1 concert, I wish I wasn't a pussy and bought tickets to their Clockwork Angels tour where the played a few songs live for the first time and did the entire Clockwork Angels album with a string orchestra as backup. I just wussed out.

Buckethead

Had the opportunity to see him live a few years ago but had just attended another concert and thought I'd see him the "next time ".

Turns out he has had some significant heart related health challenges and who knows if he will tour again.

Just because something is legal to do doesn't mean it is the smart thing to do.

In the 6 years I lived about a mile away from Pine Knob Music Theater (AKA: DTE Music Theater) I could only one performer from my home. Prince.
It was several nights of pure hell for us.

Hey, 31 flavors, right? Not sure why either one of you felt a need to share the fact that you don’t care for live music, but enjoy yourselves.

I have a list of five that I'd like to have seen .
Don't regret not going though, not one bit.

T
All the seats I could afford would have required 6 power binoculars.

Regardless of how absolutely awes the music was.

It wouldn't have been worth it.
