Has anyone figured out why The Ghoul has a heavy southern accent, but Cooper Howard doesn’t?

I think that maybe Cooper lightened up on the accent when he was a Hollywood actor, just as Walton Goggins did when he left Kentucky, to "fit in," and then after things went to hell he didn't need to anymore.

The commercials on Amazon Prime are getting to be much worse than they ever were on regular TV. Just watched the Season 2 finale, and in the last half of the episode, there were breaks about every 5 minutes. Very distracting.

Season 2 was pretty decent, and came together in the end. Hopefully they’ll trim down the various stories in Season 3 because it’s a lot of jumping around in the episodes. I really don’t understand the Macaulay Culkin casting in the show. He still looks and sounds like the Home Alone kid, and he isn’t threatening in any way. Almost everyone else is great, but he just seems so off.

You might be paying the additional monthly fee for commercial-free shows.

I'm getting the ads, and there is a link to go ad-free so you can subscribe for it.

Just finished S1 & started S2 last night.
Enjoying it overall, but S1 definitely felt like just a ton of character building & backstory.

Definitely makes me want to dig out my old PS3 & NV

I've played the hell out of Fallout since, well before Fallout Big Grin, I go all the way back to WASTELAND and Fountain of Dreams. I gotta say I was super impressed with both seasons of Fallout. I mean of course there are differences and everybody experiences a game and how it translates to screen differently etc. but all in all I thought they did a pretty good job trying to stay true to the games/universe as best they could.

It was a little slow at times but you need to build the universe for folks and keep people coming back etc. but damn for all the times my childhood and or nostalgia have been kicked and beaten and curb stomped by "modern media" I am super happy with the product.

^ That's mostly what kept me going on it.
A lot of buildup, but I found my self not really 'caring' about any of the main cast, maybe it was all the jumps between 'groups'

So far, S2 [1 episode in] isn't bad. Definitely moving things along a bit quicker.

It's more or less "The Ghoul's" story so to speak. Everybody else are sort of "party members" IMO.

Lucy is great as the "new player character" who is getting better, smarter, more equipped as she "levels up" through the show.

Maximus is awesome as the "God dammit, I guess we're doing this....." character.

The over arching villainous plot(s) are very Fallout/Bond like.

Again I have a pretty solid basis in all the games so I might be seeing more easter eggs and what not as the show progresses. For those ignorant(as in uneducated not stupid) of the game universe it probably just comes across as sort of silly sci fi that isn't sure if it wants to be serious or funny. That line of sarcasm is a major part of the game world.

^ That's a fair synopsis, and isn't overly obvious at first. Took some time to get a feel for who was really important long-term.
