Mann Music Center in Philly, 1994 Stone Temple Pilots w/The Meat Puppets & Jawbox Probably one of the best concerts I've been to too. The Meat Puppets could've headlined their own show.

Pink Floyd, Antwerpen Belgium. , feb 22? 1977, Animals European Tour. Recently found out there's a bootlegged music version of the concert, quite poor quality, somewhere in the interwebs. 0-0 "OP is a troll" - Flashlightboy, 12/18/20

The Dead Kennedy's played my high school cafeteria (not the gym, HS was too worried about the basketball court) in the fall of 1978 or spring 1979 - somewhere in there. NRA Life Member - "Fear God and Dreadnaught"

My first true major rock concert was 1968 Jimi Hendricks in Washington DC and for Wendy was 1964 The Beatles in Baltimore MD. In Baltimore back in the sixties there were local concerts in a park Hopkins University and all sorts of groups would show up and play for hours. Chris

My first real rock concert was at Anaheim Stadium in 1977. Lynyrd Skynyrd headlined (months before their plane crash) with Ted Nugent, special guests Foreigner, and REO Speedwagon opening. Before this concert, I've wanted to see Zeppelin, Rod Stewart, Yes, etc., but never had the money. It wasn't until I was of working age (16) did I start attending gigs. In 1966 or 67 I saw Terry Knight and the pack at a local place. Terry Knight was a DJ for a.m.8.0 CKLW, Detroit. Later he managed the band When Mark Farner took over the lead and they became Grand Funk RR. Also about the same time saw Mitch Rider and the Detroit wheels and the same place here in Ohio. Later saw the Bee Gees. NRA Life Endowment member Tri-State Gun collectors Life Member

For me, it was the same tour in Atlanta, at The Omni. My first concert ever was Kenny Rogers with my parents and sister. Gallagher (the comedian) opened for him. ____________________________________________________ ‘‘Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Kiss when I was in junior high, so that would make it '77 or '78. I know things were different back then, but I'm not really sure my parents knew what they were doing. ------------------------------ "They who would give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Benjamin Franklin "So this is how liberty dies; with thunderous applause." - Senator Amidala (Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith)
