| First SiG was late 70’s or 80’s, stainless 230 … at first I was in love … then something else came along and I needed to sell or trade it to help fund some other new sparkle… I’ve had several over the last 40 or so years but I never seem to keep them. If you really want something you'll find a way ... ... if you don't you'll find an excuse.
I'm really not a "kid" anymore ... but I haven't grown up yet either |

| My first Sig was a P220 bought in 1990. I asked the forum if there was a P220 in 9mm cuz the .45 ACP was so awesome. They steered me to CDNN who had 220's in 9mm (a surplus for the CMP). I bought one and it is absolutely incredible!!!! |

| I think I bought my first P220R in 2007. That's when I first joined the forum under the username P220R. Somehow I lost the login and had to make my current one. I was torn between a Kimber 1911 and P220, but the P220 won out. I later sold it to one of my really good friends to fund the purchase of a new P220 Carry SAS Gen 2, which I still have.

| First SIG was a P238, the Nightmare edition, it was all black. Bought it for an EDC, but wanted a 9mm, so I gave it to my son, who still has it. Then onto a 365, then 365 SAS, and finally the XL version. Then a 226, too heavy, traded it for a 320 X compact, which I still have. And finally, a Mosquito , in which I had to buy a used barrel so it would no longer jam. |

Same here, and it's still my all-around favorite SIG; I've owned just about all of them at one time or another!

| Fall of '95 Sig P-226 in 9mm for my duty gun '96 for a P-220 Soon after the DAK's came out, I got a P-220 DAK. There's another P-220 that found its way into the safe somewhere in there. All work guns.

| West German P220 purchased in the late 80"s. The only sig that I own. As much as I love it, I will probably not buy another another Sig. |

This Space for Rent
| I picked up a P229 in June of 2001. The Firestar I had was too small for my hands and wanted something bigger.

| March 2006.
Bought a police trade-in P226 folded slide gun for $300. They had extra mags for $10. Only bought four extra mags. Should have bought more. Gun came with worn Hogue wraparounds that I replaced with then-current plastic factory grips. Never had an issue with it and shot it a lot.
I detail stripped the frame and slide a couple years back and cleaned thirty years of gunk out of it. |
