It's still my carry weapon.

Purchased a well-used LE-Trade-in P-229 in .40 back in 2011...Coupla' P-220's after that...Was "Sigless" for a while, started back with P-250's two or three years ago--Growing up on S&W Revolvers, the DAO mode of operation doesn't bother me at all--And have "Branched Out" to some P-320's here lately...

228. Probably 99 or 2000. During the ban in any case and finding magazines that weren't the weird 10 rounders with the short tubes and plastic block was impossible. Nice gun, but I ended up trading it for a 220. Don't have that gun either anymore.

Happily I finally replaced the 228 last year with an early triple serial numbered 228 and a stack of magazines.

My first SiG, and I still have it, is a P220 euro I bought used from a police officer buddy...he had used it in two lethal force situations. He sold it to buy a new sig P220 with and America's button release.

Late to the Sig game, several years ago came into a lot of .40, didn't have anything in the loading, wanted a hammer so no Glock, so i bid online on a 226 that was a local G.S. Won it at a great price, picked it up the owner wasn't happy with the out come of his penny auctions, and have bought several since then.
