That 68 is a beauty. The grips are especially nice. Maybe closer photos of the markings for we of the old eyes persuasion? ----- Support the entire Constitution, not just the parts you like. Common sense isn't "right wing" unless you are too far to the left. | |||

Per SWSC 3rd edition: The S&W 68 was basically a 66 chambered in 38 only. There were about 6055 made. Revisions made were 68 68-1 (not verified) 68-2 Personally I would love to have one | |||

The model 68 was originally made for California Highway Patrol. L.A.P.D. allowed officers to purchase and carry model 68s after they had been fixed to fire double action only. Most sold to California Highway Patrol. The gun I showed above had been fixed and carried.' | |||
