You guys just made me buy a Barranti Leather holster. I wonder how long they are taking nowadays.

^^^ I’m not sure what their wait-time is these days - at the very least, I don’t believe they’ve reached the current Milt Sparks 40-week level haha. I checked and my last order of something to be crafted by them was from ‘24 and took about three months at that time.

Regardless, congrats on a purchase from them. I’m admittedly a biased fan-boy of their products.

I have come full circle -
Started out with revolvers
Went to 1911’s, DA/SA sig hk and beretta
Then to glocks
Now back to revolvers ( I never really left them, always having a few no matter what else was on the 1st string)
I find I simply enjoy them more, both visually and handling and shoot them pretty well.
My almost always gun ( work in a NPE) is a 442 I got cheap a couple years back. I really wanted an old classic like a model 38 but they are not that easy to find ( at least at the price I M willing to pay) and the 442 was at a price I could not say no. It does have an issue with shooting a tad right ( over clocked barrel I guess) to the tune of at 7-10 yards aim at the right eye to hit bridge of nose, but I can live with that

It's an excellent round. I chose the 3" SS SP101 for the extra size and weight. It takes it from SNAPPY to snappish. You'll likely be very happy with it and it will likely push all others down a notch on the EDC list.

That’s the one you want. It’s my most-carried gun. Firepower-to-size ratio is hard to beat.

As for Doc Barranti - took about 7 weeks for him to make my IWB for the Single Seven last year. Yes, I’ll carry a single action from time to time.

Get it! I love and carry mine all the time. .327 is very SNAPPISH but the .32 H&R Mags are much easier to shoot, and the .32 Longs are a joy to shoot while also extremely accurate and controllable. I carry a mix of speed strips with .32 H&R mag in the LCR, 1 speed strip of .32 H&R mags and 2 speed strips of .32 Longs. I am trying to stay away from .327 as I also have and carry a S&W 642UC in .32. You can shoot .327 and all .32s out of the LCR but you can't shoot .327 out of the 642UC.

I also just got a Diamondback SDR in .357/38 that I am breaking in right now....along with a GForce .357/38 lever action rifle. Wink

A bit bigger with 3" barrel and 27oz weight which some wouldn't want as smallest/lightest is the usual gospel but I find dual advantages, the SP101 in .327 adds a very valuable sixth round to the cylinder and converts the .327 from SNAPPISH (it is in any of those too small and too light guns) to a snappy little shooter that takes full advantage of the benefits of going to the .32 family of cartridges. LOVE my .327 SP101. It and my 2.5" .357 GP100 7 shot are my only two EDC now, the other several prior participants relegated to fun duty only.

I still carry my S&W 638 from time to time. I got rid of the rest of my revolvers.

Get the Lipsey version of the 327 SP101. I ended up with the blued and the stainless. I have a mini S&W 19 and 66. That’s what they remind me of but in a heavy J frame format. Awesome little 6 shooters.

Ruger LCR 357 mag whenever it's cool enough to wear a hoodie here in TX.

For ME:
DA/SA=Sig 9mm or HK P30 LEM 9
Striker fired= Glock 9mm
If it's a .45= 1911
Suppressed= HK in .45
I like anything in 10mm
