Had some 8 rounders for my P220 years ago, never had a problem with them. I think I’ve seen one knowing about them ever, and it was here. I do not remember what the issue was, but I remember my impression was “I wouldn’t let that stop me from buying more.”

The issue had to do with cracked feed lips IIRC. Not sure if it was a batch or early design or what. I have never experienced it but I haven’t run the mags hard or a ton.

Their excuse to me was that the P220's it happened with were made/machined wrong, so the mags hit the slide.(I guess all three of my 220s of different vintage were made wrong. That still doesn't explain the 1911's)This message has been edited. Last edited by: cas,

Have several in .45 for my P220. They've been 100% reliable over several years of use. I do remember a number of conversations regarding cracking and at the time that did cause me to hold off on adding more after my first two. Parked my factory SIG P220 mags and just kept running those two exclusively to see if they would break. After countless rounds nothing bad happened; proceeded to go back to Greg Cote and buy a bunch more after that. Seems very GTG to me.
