God I sure hope not.

I saw one reviewer said there was a cut out, but I think he was seeing the window for the serial number.

Still didn't see anything that would make me dump my well proven Gen 5 Glocks for this thing. The last two Springfield Armory items I purchased were a Defender series 1911 and a SA 35. The clones are very well made and make me appreciate the classics. This? They'll probably market it as the "Glock Killer" and it won't be.

It won't be a Glock killer, and nothing does. But is still a very good gun. Why dump Glocks? Echelon outdoes Glock in terms of grip comfort for sure. Modularity is a plus, too. We'll see what SA comes with for customization.

Just handled one in store, WOW. Well thought out handgun and just really points super natural for me. I've been using a done up XDM in IDPA for years now so I have no product reliability complaints. Stock trigger is not Walther good but better than any Glock setup for sure. The grip/texture/slide is currently unmatched, and I own most of all the best players in the game.
