Quite possibly, but I tend to think that the arthritically-challenged septuagenarians and octogenarians would probably appreciate their hi-cap 380s in Shield EZ Plus form.

My weird sense of humor is acting up this morning. I had to laugh at this comment, posted by a member whose forum name includes "P220."
Big Grin Back in 2004 when I made my username my issued pistol was a P220. I still have it and will never get rid of it. I went through all of my instructor courses with that pistol. It was my only pistol for many years. Nowadays, I have several pistols but tend to carry small 380 pistols the most in warm temps. I spend a lot of time at the baseball field with my son and the old P220 is difficult to carry in a tshirt and sport shorts.

Lite Rack would likely be difficult to accomplish in a blowback pistol of this size. The 22 can be because it's a 22. The SW EZ accomplished it by making it big. Tiny and EZ just don't work together.

Could I ask where you ordered?
All my searches now have come up out of stock.

I don't know about this "lite rack" business or whether it would make any difference, but FWIW LCPs aren't blowback.

Wow HandgunHero already has it listed. Here it is next to a Glock 42. The two guns I pocket carry are a Colt Mustang XSP and a G42. This new Ruger looks pretty good.

Will SIG now be motivated to come out with a 10 round p238?

Will do!

Have not shot it yet.
2 observations from cleaning.

Sharp edges inside opening where trigger is located. Dry firing resulting in a bad pinch to trigger finger.

Magazine after 8th round is HARD to load, especially with such a small cartridge. Could be a bad problem for older shooters, like me, with arthritic hands.

Note, magazines are hard to find, most places show out of stock.

Grabagun shows the 12 round Ruger magazines in stock at $32.99. I picked up 2 earlier at $27.99 in anticipation of finding an LCP Max somewhere soon. Wish me luck. Big Grin

This comment reminds me of why I like SF. I can be among others who buy magazines for guns they haven't acquired yet and not be considered weird for doing so. Big Grin

Good luck and thanks for the info on the mags.

Today's observation : Carrying the Max for 1 day in a kydex iwb already shows finish wear. Which is to be expected of an oxide finish. The slide will be done in Ion Bond soon.

Size : As known, larger than the LCP II, I kept trying to associate a pistol, I've had previously to the Max. The Kel Tec PF9 is almost comparable in grip size.

Doctors appointments have kept me from shooting the Max.

I bought a Ruger LCP Max today at the local gun store for $399. Bought the 12 round mag that they had in stock to go with it as well.

Ruger hit it out of the ballpark with this gun. Its freaking awesome. Good trigger, good sights, amazing size, amazing capacity. Wow. I bet they sell them by the boatload.

Haven't shot it yet, lets hope its reliable. All my other Ruger products are reliable, so high hopes.

Looking forward to hearing some shooting impressions. Hopefully I'll see one I can hold to see if it's really pocketable for me.

For those that got one, can you report whether the trigger bar safety can be removed? From the list of features, photos, reviews, etc., this seems to be the only thing I don't like.
