Just picked up Sig 228 with three original mags (German “zipper” mags). I am happy camper!

Cool!

I only have one, but may be able to get another one soon.

There is another member that has more than that.

Congrats on your P228! Let us know how it shoots.

Congratulations. 228's were like a gateway drug to Sig's for me.

Forget the P228. It's obsolete. Need to follow the crowd and get the P320 and P365 Macro Spectre Pro.

I will gladly take any of your obsolete P228's off of your hands, friend! I'll even cover shipping to my FFL.

Spoken like a true collector. I believe that might be an example of trolling, in the best-natured use of the term. Wink

Hahaha! I see what you did there. Your P228 posts are still some of my favorite all time posts and my P228 is my favorite pistol. There something about it that gives it the “IT” factor.

Carbon steel slide 226/228 were the pinnacle of Sig Sauer.

I have the same regard for my 228 that I do for all my classic guns.

I was surprised to find a Sig 228 in such excellent condition with three zipper mags.
I like the classic Sigs.
I carry a Sig 365 XL.

The P228 is an excellent choice for a Sig.

Guess I really have to accept the fact that I can't own all of the 228s.

Same here.

Maybe you can try consecutive years or one in every caliber?

Still a tough egg to crack.

One in every caliber might be much easier. Buy a 9x19 here and import a 9x21 from overseas, and you're done. The toughest one to crack? Every year of the full Nickel P228.
