Carbon steel slide 226/228 were the pinnacle of Sig Sauer.
I have the same regard for my 228 that I do for all my classic guns.

I was surprised to find a Sig 228 in such excellent condition with three zipper mags. I like the classic Sigs. I carry a Sig 365 XL.

One in every caliber might be much easier. Buy a 9x19 here and import a 9x21 from overseas, and you're done. The toughest one to crack? Every year of the full Nickel P228.
