Great catch…I’ve been trying to find them and keep missing out.

My only whine with the new metal mags:
The thicker baseplate rides against the heel of my hand. I would like to see a thinner baseplate.

Glock seems to have hit a home run by starting to manufacture their own Shield mags.

Glock has a home run by making metal mags with a dimple instead of a hole needing a metal mag catch. Big Grin
Shield mags eat up a plastic Glock mag catch. YMMV

You have enough rounds through one to know that to be true? How many rounds you have through them?

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

I just hope PSA lowers the price on their Dagger Micro mags that are the same thing, but ten bucks more.

I ordered 4 from GT Distributors this morning and they shipped within two hours.

Wait months for a preorder when plenty of folks have them in stock for cheaper. No thanks.

I just did the same.

I got two in today and went to hit the indoor range to test them out. But they wouldn’t let me shoot because….crocs. Apparently the insurance company says crocs at the indoor range is dangerous.

Crocs aren’t dangerous, they make me more dangerous.

I have one of these a buddy gave me. Not had a chance to use it yet.
I just recently bought a dagger micro mower to slap my 43 slide on.

Someone at work who has been using the Shield mags since they came out just advised me his Shield mags are no longer locking in. OEM mags still work. I suspect his OEM polymer mag catch has deteriorated enough to become an issue.

I'm waiting to see if I win this 43x parts kit then will order a grit grips frame. Already have three of the new mags.

Well, I sheered off the screws that held my MOS plate on my 17 today. Optic plate and all smacked me in the face toward the end of stage three.

And I never slowed down when the optic came off.

One sure way to avoid that is to have no screws to shear. Razz

Mind sharing the details on the plate/optic?

Factory MOS plate with RMR06. Gun has somewhere in the neighborhood of 25k or so on it. Plus 3 dry fire sessions a week since the end of last year.

Screws broke off even (smooth) at the slide. I think that I’m just going to send the slide to ATEI and have it cut to the RMR footprint only.

Thanks for the link, good looking out! I like these a lot. Yes, the baseplate flexes a bit once you leave them loaded, but it doesn't get any worse after about a day or so and they've been 100% for me so far. I went ahead and ordered four more, so I'll have eight.

I also may or may not have ordered a double mag carrier, holster for a G48 with a TLR7 Sub and a Radian Ramjet today, so... I guess you could say I'm committing to carrying this thing. Razz

Yeah, yeah, recoil and comps and practice and all that. Over the last year, I have shot and dry-fired myself to a point past tennis elbow to instant, sharp pain from recoil when shooting the 43X, and after trying out a friend's with the Ramjet, it was an obvious difference, so I'm doing it.

I have a couple of the Dagger mags. I was comparing them to the Glock metal mags. The Daggers work fine but seem lightly constructed and appear to have a rough finish. The Glock mags are substantially heavier, better finished and overall better in quality. Dagger mags will be range only in future.

Why not an ACRO at that point? No screws to break.

Do you own any dagger mags? I own a few and ran them through a pistol class a few weeks back. They are ok, but they feel inferior to Shield mags and they take a little more convincing to drop out of the magwell.
