I first posted in this thread on March 18, 2009. It was the fifth post in the thread. I did not have a Glock then, do not have one now, nor have I had one in the interim.

I don't hate Glocks but they hate me. Got no use for one. Glock don't do anything for me that one of my Sigs won't do.

Trying to find a G19 Gen 5 regular or MOS through the Blue Label program. Very scarce.

slowly they are starting to come back. It's still going to be probably a year until the market returns back to normal. But if you look, and wait at little bit, you can find one.

Can’t your dealer order one for you?

I ordered a 43X and it took a few months to get to my dealer.

I’m getting ready to order one directly from Glock and the paperwork says up to six months.

Someday I will learn to go in and not just call. Haha.

Two G19 Gen 5’s with consecutive serial numbers are safe in the safe.

The other dealer I went to could order but not give a solid date.

I will not buy a Glock. I have handled them and shot one. Did not like. There are too many competitors that I like better. Also, I just bought a P365 as my EDC. I am happy with my handgun situation. I may look for an AR at some point, but most of my gun money will be going into ammo for quite some time.

If you had a few hours to spare, you could go through the pages of this thread and find remarks identical to yours, and then find a few pages later, these same members saying "I bought a Glock." This is sometimes followed by a post a few months later, of the same members showing three, for, a half dozen Glocks. Think I'm kidding?

Tell him, guys. It's the truth.

So, you haven't bought a Glock. Yet.

It's true! I hated Glocks until my daughter fired a G17 and liked it. I bought her a G19, and once I fired it, I bought myself one. I sold the next 2 Glocks I bought, but now, in addition to the G19, I have another G19. GH48, G45 and G43X.

I finally took my 43X to the range.
I bought at around the 2020 election.. Eek

I bought 3 Shield mags and the installed Shield mag catch.
Everything ran fine, no failures of any kind.
Put about 200 rds of various ammo thru it using both stock and Shield mags.

But it just doesn't excite me to shoot it as much, as say my G17s, G21, or any other Glock I own.
Not sure what that says about me.
I kinda feel the same way about my G19..

Maybe the single stack of the 43X, maybe the size in general, IDK.
Maybe it will grow on me in time.

For now I guess I'll just put it back in the safe and add it to the kids inheritance collection.

But I did buy another Glock.. Big Grin

I just bought one; I haven't fired it yet, but I really like the little gun.
