I had a Glock 23, and just could not feel the love. The bumps on the front strap didn't fit my hand, and it just didn't point for me. I traded it in on a P225 that was a PD trade-in, and never looked back...got a P6 and another 225.

This is the only Glock I own...

I've owned three pistols and sold three. I just don't like them. There's nothing technically at fault with them, it's just a personal preference. They are kind of like the sluts of the handgun market. Always ready and dependable...just not something you are proud to introduce to mom and dad.

I came out of the closet on my Glock love a long time ago.

While I also have a love of high dollar 1911's and Sigs, the little plastic Glock in 9mm and 45 ACP are the two pistols I always seem to come back to.

Holding a G17 to me is like shaking the hand of an old friend.

I fired a glock 20 last week and while it was very accurate i'd rather pound 10 penny nails with it then shoot it again. Not my cup of tea.

I too was a Glock hater until I bought a Glock 21SF and love the damn ugly thing!

I may be adding a Glock 19 in the near future; the G21SF is for home defense while the G19 would be for carry.

What do you think of "Hans and Franz" as names for my Plastic Fantastic? Big Grin

I think they're a very aesthetically pleasing gun and no doubt are reliable but I just don't like them. Too overglorified by stupid rap artists as well.
There is something about how they feel while you're shooting that I don't like. I'd say the Sigs I've shot seem more solid and composed.
To each his own but I doubt I would own one.

I believe he's saying that the MP is greater than the Glock. I disagree.

I admit I own a Glock, don't shoot it as much as I should, but I own a 19 with Big Dots.

huskerlrrp, I edited your photo. The external site was repeatedly asking for a certificate.

They might not be purty, but there's nothing wrong with a Glock.

Resistance is futile.

That would be a .45 Wink

I have a problem though. My Glocks procreate. I started off with a G36, then got a CCF-framed G17-esque gun, and now a G27. Those new RTF guns are looking mighty attractive...
A G19SF RTF = one of my dream guns.

Doesn't Glock make a 11.4x32 pistol?

Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Out of all the glocks I've owned, I've never had the most famous one, a 19. Hey Para, should I buy a 19? Wink

I have a 27 and am the proud owner of a new 30 that I'm about to work into my CCW rotation. I also plan to remedy that 19 issue in the near future.
