In my experience, they'll just tell you when they received it, and how long you can expect to wait. So, as long as you saw your check was cashed, they have nothing revelatory to tell you. Maybe depends on who picks up.

I had the misfortune of my lgs somehow missed my silencershop info and didn’t log my suppressor for 4 months. I only found it because i casually went to silencershop.com and looked at my order history. All of my previous purchases has a date when the check was cashed, except the trouble one… so i guess i will wait some more.

Efiled a Form 1 for a SBS on June 14. Mailing fingerprint cards in the morning. If this one goes smoothly I'll do another for a SBR. Efile process was fairly painless.

copaup - your form 1 was approved in 3 weeks?

I submitted two paper form 1's in late November. Checks cashed by ATF in mid-December. Just called ATF and they are still processing - so closing in on 7 months now. Mad

He e-filed. E-file is much quicker. Paper is hit-and-miss, depending on the examiner who receives it. My local shop just received a form4 filed in December of 2020, but is still waiting on one from June of 2020 as well.
