I elected to go 'low-pro' lately, so I've been packing this new yellow Evo Vic SAK, which I recently acquired. One of many, I rotate 'in and out' the line of 'pocket' duty.

ZT0452 with its 4.1" blade and slim carbon fiber handle that I recently picked up and been carrying for a week. It could use a reprofiling / sharpening though.

This was yesterday's lunch at a favorite Italian restaurant: lamb osso bucco with polenta and pasta on the side. I traded the vegetables that came with it for the polenta.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Very nice blade, Vemon. I handled this very 'Kershaw' model, last week, at my local knife outlet. The "Launch" felt very solid in my hand. I was almost tempted to buy one.

A cool-looking 'Protech', SYGMYSTER. Interesting: blade 'fires' from bolster-movement. Only 'drawback' is it's "right-hand" friendly only. They have these at BladeHQ for $199.00 dollars.

I carry the same knife every day, a Kershaw Chive assisted open. I like it, it's a good knife for the price, and cheap enough I don't have to worry about losing it or ruining it.

I work in an office, sort of, so don't need a big knife, just one I can open boxes, cut paper and vinyl, that kind of thing, nothing heavy duty. And don't want a heavy knife in my pocket, or to have to wear a sheath. But sure don't want to be without a knife ever either.
