I don't patronize starbust very often, but my observation is when good companies stop or negatively change the best things their customers love about them, that marks the beginning of the end of their run. This is a good example of the fact that high IQ is not a good predictor of common sense. I think the best run companies are led and run by people with lots of common sense.

I never liked Starbucks coffee and also think it tastes burnt and is overpriced. I have probably had less than ten cups of their coffee in my life. The only time I would drink it was when a co-worker would bring me one (she liked it and drank it all the time).

It has to be about 7-8 years since I had a Starbucks coffee. It wouldn't bother me a bit if the whole woke company disappeared.

If I recall, Starbucks started allowing homeless people(druggies) to use the bathrooms and hang out for awhile. That required them to train/hire "outreach" personnel in all those shit-hole, democrat run cities. So, yeah.

In airports you have limited choices so I have spent more money in Starbucks than I prefer to. Never liked their coffee. Their baked goods were consistently tasty. Their corporate sense is atrocious. I also always wondered if they didn’t over saturate themselves.

I think part of it is their woke policies.

But I think another piece of the puzzle is that those who were acting like they could afford $9 a day for coffee are realizing the $9 isn't so easy to find this time around.

The only coffee of theirs I have had was from bags of pre-ground that I got from a discount/closeout store. It was OK but no better than anyone else's; its being past the "expiration date" might also have been a factor. The bigger problem, and the real point, is that due to inflation, fewer people can afford to splurge on $8 coffees, which only three years ago might have been $6.

Bought Starbucks only twice in the past two-three years. For the price, the morning coffee at Wendy's is pretty decent.

There is a Starbucks down in Osage Beach, I don't go down there all that much but when I do there are never any cars in front or driving thru. What I have noticed is that there are now about six maybe seven drive thru coffee shops that are conveniently located around and they are always packed. Their coffee prices range between two to four bucks for a large cup of very good coffee.

Starbucks coffee (black, without 3000 calories of sugar and other crap added) is horrible.

Also, that logo is of a mermaid, spreading her twin tails (in a very lewd manner, imo). Google the full logo.

I will not set foot in a starbucks unless there were no other options.

My local BK has a Senior coffee on the menu, rings up sixty eight cents including tax. On the way to work or out of town that’s my stop.

Hell Speedway gas station coffee is better than Starpukes burnt coffee. Panera’s coffee sucks, lemons but even that’s better. Only thing I like at Panera is their cinnamon/raisin bagels but at almost two bucks it better be good.

If you look at the logo and see her arms coming off the body they outside portion of the logo looks like her legs pulled up as in ankle by the ears. Once you see it you can’t unsee it.

Then there's the Sigforum version:

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I made two trips to Starbucks in one. My first trip and my last trip. Didn't like anything about it, never went back.

The last time there, I went to the drive-thru. When I got the window to pick up my order, I was greeted by a humanoid with metal boogers hanging out of their nose. I said, no thanks, keep it and I drove off.

People can do what they want to themselves, but when they are greeting the public, and especially when they are handling food items, they need to understand they have a higher standard. It's hard to think of a body adornment more unsanitary and unsightly than metal boogers.

For those who many not know, metal boogers:

I’ve been to the place a grand total of 2 times, once when we we’re vacationing in Mackinaw and it was later and I wanted a black coffee, worst coffee I ever spent an ungodly amount for and the 2nd time was when I picked step daughter up from the airport and she wanted something so I went thru the drive thru on the way home, it’s a good thing I love that kid because $8 for whatever it was she got was ridiculous. We have a Bigby a mile from me and while $2 is still pretty steep for a black coffee, it’s an excellent Cupid I never saw or went into a Starbucksagain, my life would be grand

Starbuck's coffee is so bad that even though it is free where I work and I can drink as much as I want to, I still don't drink it. It's a nice perk but not any good to me.
