There is no cure.

"[T]his is another example of the evidence that we're seeing, that a lot of that just appears to be hype, and it was predicated on just the thinnest" of evidence... The fact that someone is in DC and goes to a rally, as George said, is just not reason [enough] to open up a criminal investigation."

Freedom is messy and comes with risks. Risks such as being harmed by someone else. It means leaning towards chaos rather than enforced order.

This was built into our founding documents. Brilliantly so. When a malicious person does something harmful to another's liberties, he can have his liberty or even life taken away. But freedom was made paramount in that we can live according to our own desires until we cross that line and are found guilty of being harmful.

Somehow this has been lost on many Americans. Many government officials have exploited the apparent public preference to give up liberty for an appearance of security. Thus the constant cries of crisis and emergency from government.

The only solution is rolling back the size and power of the government. A return to the Constitutional limits imposed but ignored. The monster FBI will never revert to proper behavior as long as it is so large. Reagan was right; government is the problem.

Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

Time to convert to Catholicism maybe?

I'm surprised to hear you suggest such a thing. If you converted to Catholicism in order to spite the FBI, not only would you not be a true Catholic, but you would also have denigrated religious faith by behaving as if what should be a very important and somber decision is the equivalent of switching credit card companies.

Well, I guess the written word as I use it - didn’t convey much meaning; just enough to see it that way I suppose.

I mentioned in an earlier previous thread “how doing?“ that I was thinking about taking a lengthy pilgrimage with a good friend of mine later this year. He is devoutly Catholic.

I am generally areligious … no need for details here.

But if I could poke a finger in the eff bee eye … two birds w one stone etc - so be it. Lol

The FBI probably has internal memos on all conservative religions.

If you don't accept their version of what is now right and wrong, you will end up on their radar.

IMO, it is not a stretch to compare the FBI to the KGB; arguably, it can be stated that Obama weaponized the FBI into a KGB type of organization during his presidency, and they haven't let up since. They have been on a tear in regards to private citizens (and political opponents) in this country.

I don’t like to talk about others beliefs, I do not care if they know God,Buddha or a 100 other names. If you’re not bugging or hurting anyone who cares?…myself, I’ve got enough on my plate & being 1/2 Sicilian, I don't trust anyone but myself…& I second or 3rd guess on that.

The KGB (Committee for State Security) is precisely what the FBI has become. Their job is to protect the regime and the Deep State. FBI is really a misnomer.

The Gazillion $ question! Something along the lines of “who guards the guards?” The root of the matter.
Thanks Gustofer.

Do you ever wonder why there are three back-to-back shows on CBS of the FBI? (and who is really behind it)
All they ever do is perpetuate the myths of their purpose and promote the typical leftist stereo types of the bad guy.
Don't know if the show ever promoted "Bad Catholics" but I am sure it is under consideration.
Kind of sickening. Frown

Even if you reorganize it, fire everyone down thru the SPAC's, you still have the rank and file who has been infected with the current policies.

As for the FBI, their reputation is somewhere below used car salesmen and the cable company. I don’t know if they will ever redeem it.

hopefully another Simon of Cyrene helps Christ bear his cross again!
I’d carry it for ya Jesus but that’s just me. I’d be thinking of your Ma the entire time! And I’d be so mad, you wouldn’t want to know me! Sorry Lord!

Or something like that.
