I simply don't understand this line of thought. I was as Cruz supporter, was . I'm not going to whine and bitch about the candidate I ended up with. I'm 109% pro-Trump. Do I like him? Not really. Who cares? This is war. He and others are waving the white flag.

I'm all for MAGA. It surely hasn't improved in last 8 years. How the hell could anyone want to continue that path? Some people need to suck it up and do what needs to be done.

He won't be perfect, but she'd be disastrous. End of discussion.

The need to feel accepted and part of the "in crowd" is great. To the point where you turn a blind eye to the events around you in order to do so.

Pitiful.

I'm sorry to see Sowell in that list of losers, but it's true that he has been down on Trump. "Even Homer nods."

But-- holy crap-- George Will is "distinguished" for his "intellectual prowess"?? Today he said that he was hoping for a Hillary Clinton LANDSLIDE victory! Bill Kristol is the leading "Never Trump" figure! Kelly launched the phony-baloney "Trump's war on women" attack! Krauthammer and Shapiro have been clueless, establishment parrots.

And when Trump wins, they all lose.

This is arguable?

These people claim to be conservatives, yet they are working to help elect Hillary in an open and notorious fashion. If she wins, WE lose. They are no better than Podesta, Mills, or Brazile.

The pundits in DC are all part of the DC cocktail circuit. These guys all go to the same restaurants and bars, play golf together on the weekend, live in mansions in gated communities. All of their talk is theoretical to them. They are not affected by Obamacare and don't know anybody who is actually affected by it. They are not concerned about an illegal immigrant wrecking into them with no insurance, murdering someone they know, taking their job nor do they know anyone with such concerns. They don't worry about taxes or finances, they have lawyers and accountants who take care of that for them. They don't own guns or know people who actually own or use guns, those are tools strictly for their armed security guards. They fly first class wherever they go and don't mix with the great unwashed masses.

They are like the prosecutors and defense attornies who argue in court and then head to the bar to down a few cold ones together. They don't care about you or me. They are not in Appalachia like I am where the coal industry has been completely decimated. It's not a theory around here, the miners, engineers, truck drivers, railroad workers, machinists, mechanics, restaurant workers, etc who have all lost not just their jobs, but their homes and their careers. It's not some abstract faculty lounge tête-à-tête, it's real life sick to your stomach reality around here.

Yep.

And not to bring a "local" thing in on my end in return...but remember how flummoxed IL Governor Blago was when he got prosecuted? "I got this thing, and its fucking golden!" were his exact words. To his defense, he couldnt believe he was getting pinched for something everyone else was doing on a much grander scale.

Who would have predicted what we are seeing happening today with all the dirt coming out on the Clinton crime family? I wouldn't have. Maybe the fuse has been lit and all these corrupt, uncaring elite SOBs will go down in flames with them. We can only hope. We need to keep the pressure on and get "Lucille" ready.

I referenced a Milo video a few pages back of him slamming a NeverTrumper. The moron thinks with a Hillary presidency, conservatives can come up with a plan to come back in 4 years. After Hillary chooses a couple of Supreme Court justices. After she decimates the 2A. Etc. Etc.

These assholes do not care about the next 4 years, they only care about a pipe dream of getting a Bush, a Rubio or a Ryan into office.

Nice to see.

I personally believe Utah will easily go to Trump, but still, with this jerk McMullin out there, I hope Utahans and any others who are thinking of voting for him see Pence and Cruz together out on the campaign trail and start coming to their senses.

Preach it, brother!

I, too, was strongly behind Cruz in the primary season. He was clearly the best candidate, the proven constitutional conservative. I think the majority of the electorate voted their anger (righteous anger at the sit-on-their-ass Republican party that refused to act on the mandate handed to them in 2014), not their intellect, and we wound up with Trump as the "conservative" candidate.

The practical reality is that no matter how you slice it, the next president will be either Trump or Clinton.

It's a binary choice. All the bullshit about third party candidates is just that: bullshit. Smoke and mirrors. A lie that there is some other option besides Trump or Clinton.

Trump is clearly the better choice, as Clinton is a sure-fire ticket straight to hell.

Yet we have supposed "conservatives" who will squander their vote on the third party lie, or even worse, will vote for Clinton, cutting off their noses to spite their faces, then bragging about their righteousness as they urge us to make the same error.

Will Trump do what he has promised? Will he appoint SCOTUS nominees strictly from his published list? Will he faithfully and in detail implement his promised "First 100 Days" agenda? Will he build "the wall" at Mexico's expense? Will he insist on a special session of Congress to implement the repeal and elimination, root, branch, and leaf, of ObamaCare? Will big government be curtailed and the powers of the Alphabet Agencies diminish under the Trump Administration? I sure don't know -- and neither do any of you. We can all hope so; based on his promises we have the right to expect so. Lord knows I want it to be so!

But we can know for sure that Clinton will nominate leftist loonies to fill SCOTUS vacancies and we will have to watch the Second Amendment diminish to meaninglessness under her watch. We will see the welfare state expand as we are flooded with un-vetted immigrants, we will see the same lawlessness and culture clashes that Western Europe is now experiencing under Clinton. We will see socialized medicine, a true "single payer" socialized medical system come to full fruition under Clinton. We will see further empowerment of the Alphabet Agencies and big government will intrude deeper and deeper into our lives and businesses. The list goes on and on, and it is totally unacceptable!

As the old saying goes, I can wish in one hand and shit in the other and see which fills up first. Wishing for a better candidate than Trump is a waste of time; Trump is what we have. Let's make the most of him.

Thanks,

Sap
