Not at all. He sees a winning ticket and some coattails he can ride to victory on. He doesn't want to be left behind. Campaigning for Trump at this late date has little if any risk and just shows how self serving he is.

I'm surprised people keep talking about him. He had his chance and missed the opportunity- Now he wants a free ride.

I will be voting Trump.
Many of my sentiments have been expressed by other members posts...

I personally believe the Clinton's corrupt hubris would know no bounds. Who's avarice driven policies would create both domestic and international havoc.

If she is elected, I see impeachment not far off.

Whomever wins, there will be discord similar to the early 70's.

Trying times are ahead.

Just another fun fact...the last time the Chicago Cubs won the World Series, a Republican President was elected. Wink

I was listening on the radio this morning to the mother of a sailor tell the story of his prosecution by the DOJ for taking pictures on the ship. Contrast this to the investigation and exoneration of Clinton citing *intentions.* The double standard is disgusting.

Trump at Pensacola, FL:

“We’ve got to be nice and cool, nice and calm. All right, stay on point Donald, stay on point,” Trump said at a rally in Pensacola, as the crowd of thousands broke out in laughter.

“No sidetracks, Donald. Nice and easy,” Trump went on. “Because I’ve been watching Hillary in the last few days and she’s totally unhinged.”

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Don Willet is 50.

If you don't follow him on Twitter you are really missing out. I've been following him for a couple of years, he is hilarious and comments frequently on the issues. He would make a superb SCOTUS justice.

I met him last year at a Christmas party, and enjoyed a drink in his company. A good guy.

He certainly seems like a very well grounded, sensible and just all around good guy.

Although I thought the latest Okeefe video wasn't a big deal, turns out there is a very close senate race in North Carolina.

Burr (R) versus Ross (D)

Burr is using the video to attack Ross

The video was recorded at a fund raiser for Ross

and there is this:

Burr, at a get-out-the-vote rally, recounted being in a gun shop recently and seeing a firearms industry magazine cover photo of Hillary Clinton. In the recording, Burr says upon seeing the cover that he was "a little bit shocked that that didn't have a bulls-eye on it," as those in attendance laughed at the apparent joke.

In the recording, Burr goes on to explain that the magazine had a gallery of politicians you should and should not vote for on the issue of gun rights and the Second Amendment. Democrats and surrogates for the Ross campaign were quick to lambaste Burr for the comments that they say is encouraging violence.

I agree 100%.

Learned of him earlier this year. And his age range is a perfect balance of experience and longevity.

Charles Krauthammer says his conscience will not allow him to vote for Donald Trump, or Hillary Clinton, and explains why he will be voting third party.

Yeah, gosh, he's such a thinker.

'Great thinkers' can do very stupid things. Intellect and eloquence don't mean they are infallible. Great commentaries or actions in the past do not mean jack to me at this point. Honestly, I can't figure out any reasonable or rational reason that they would STILL not actively support Trump. Once he was designated the candidate by the will of The People, it was their moral duty to support him.

ANYBODY who claims to be conservative, yet advocates for 3rd party votes in this election, is a traitor to the cause. I don't care WHO the candidate may be - you either support the Republican candidate or you support the dem one.

These 'never Trumpers' are despicable people. They would rather see the hag carry the election than to see Trump win. They are carrying out a scorched Earth policy, but they don't LIVE where that Earth has been scorched - WE do.
