Yes and no. Es justo, no, the POTUS cannot fire the FBI Director. De facto? Yes, with any plausible reason, all he has to do is demand the Director's resignation and protocol would require that Comey submit it immediately. Although not written anywhere, someone like the FBI Director does indeed serve at the pleasure of the POTUS.

The Dems are terrified. They are calling for Comey to release the emails just as the republicans are doing. They have no idea what is happening. I wonder where Bill and Loretta are planning on meeting this time for their secret rendezvous.

I'm still showing up on Nov. 8 to vote for DJT, in case this is twisted into a diversionary tactic to get his supporters not to show up...

Comey better have somebody else start his car for next couple of weeks.

So let me see if I've got this right. A middle aged man with connections to people in high political places, and previously disgraced for sending lewd photos of himself to strange women, is now sexting with a girl. A 15 year old girl. So the FBI investigates him. But he is married to the lesbian lover of the the Democrat candidate for President of the United States.

So, while the FBI is scrolling through photos of his dick on his iPhone, they come across emails that-- somehow-- involve or implicate the Democrat candidate for president. You know, the lesbian lover of his wife. These are so seriously transgressive that the Director of the FBI, a man tainted with the stink of corruption, can't ignore them. This is so even though just weeks ago he was able to ignore a mountain of violations and crimes-- thus the malodor emanating from him.

So, two weeks before the presidential election, this corrupt director of the FBI announces that although he had earlier.... --Ah, screw it.

Shit can't be real.

I'll just wait until I wake up.

And no more burritos before bedtime for me.
