The media focus now seems to be how Trump "loomed" behind Hillary every time she answered a question. Clearly showing his male dominance and disrespect for women. Apparently none of these people watched the debate because instead of staying on her side by her podium, she walked directly across to stand between Trump and the camera. Anyone think that wasn't planned ahead of time? I kept thinking to myself, "why does she keep walking over in front of Trump". Now I know.... By the way, guys- overnight, this thread rolled one million page views and is continuing climbing at a furious rate. I had estimated it would roll in early November, but damn if you ain't a frisky bunch. Very few threads garner one million page hits here. ____________________________________________________ "I am your retribution." - Donald Trump, speech at CPAC, March 4, 2023

^^^ Given the nature of this election as being a referendum on the "establishment" in both parties, this is more than something about one candidate. 30,000 people stand in the hot or cold for hours to attend a Trump or Bernie rally and somehow it is believed that they won't show up when they are told that voting doesn't matter anymore? I don't think so. President Washington emphatically sought to start the necessary process of an orderly transition in government. With the "establishment" being rejected by a Trump win, people would not stand for the establishment nullifying voting to keep their corruption in place. People would have voted just as much for Trump as against the corrupt Washington cartel. I could be wrong but, again, I don't think people would go quietly into the night. If one or the other candidate wins in an election then people can step back and say, "We'll get em' next time." With Sig2340's scenario, people would say that there is no way to ever have a next time. Corruption would be seen as forever entrenched. Putting passion in a pressure cooker like that would likely yield combustion. _______________________________ NRA Life Member NRA Certified Range Safety Officer

Para, that is amazing. I imagine a LOT of the hits are from outside the membership. I imagine this place is monitored by a lot of outside interests, both sympathetic and anti-gun. Thats what you get when you run with the Big Dogs. You have the world stage, Sir.

Does that make us all "millionaires"? When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own house, his possessions are undisturbed. Luke 11:21 "Every nation in every region now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists." -- George W. Bush

So, Condi thinks a potty mouth is a disqualifier for national service, but violating federal law and breaching national security are acceptable? I wonder how much money she accepted from the Clonton Crime family...

What's remarkable is the rapidity with which we reached the mark in this thread. There's Milliron's cat thread, which took three and a half years to roll a million. There's my Glock thread, which took six years to reach this mark. Uriah's serial number list thread shows 550,000 page views, but this thread is actually a recreation of a previous thread containing the same information, and I imagine that thread has an honest million or more hits. And yes, it makes no difference- member or non-member, logged in or not- if you click that thread and the page is requested from the server, that's a page hit. To reach one million page hits in a little over fifteen months is remarkable, at least for this forum. ____________________________________________________ "I am your retribution." - Donald Trump, speech at CPAC, March 4, 2023

I seriously doubt Condi has taken any dough from the Clinton Syndicate. She is just trying to balance things with her position at Stanford. IMO.

I think Bernie correctly identified a lot of the problems we face (Trump usually notes trade but there are others) but it is his solutions for those problems that are.....wacky. Bernie wouldn't have made the problems better, he would have made them different. Trump is proposing solutions that could actually make things better.
