Let me say up front, Zendriver has as much right to his opinions as anyone else. Being rude in defending them, not so much.

I too saw several polls claiming Clinton "won" last night's debate.

I also saw several saying Trump "won."

Here is what I know based on an absolutely ball busting class in experiment design I took in college. It was by far the hardest class I took in college as both an undergrad and a graduate student, dwarfing other ball busters as Physical Chemistry, Differential Equations, and Toxicology.

When the population being evaluated is essentially divided into a two groups of roughly equal size, unless the pollster publishes every aspect of their survey, from the specific questions asked, to the selection of respondents, to how they crunched numbers (including the confidence level used), to how many times they did the survey to demonstrate repeatability there is no way to contrast the results of different surveys. Slight variations yield different outcomes.

I have not seen any pollster do this on a poll of who "won" last night's debate. Or any debate.

I know also that polls and personal impressions means zip.

All that matters is who get 270 Electoral College votes.

And remember this from your high school government classes - the Electoral College is not required to elect the person who received the majority of individual votes if the majority of the members of the College think that person is unfit to be President. State laws to the contrary mean fuck all. That is why those really smart guys who ginned up the greatest guide to governance of a nation put the Electoral College in the Constitution.

And I do not discount the possibility we may see this happen this year.

Trump is saying now...and he mentioned this last night, talking about Bernie Sanders and some of his positive ideas. I think it's a good idea to get the Bernie supporters onboard. I know of one friend who was a huge Bernie supporter who's now all in for Trump and totally anti-Clinton.

Because of the width/spectrum of Trump's team, the people would see it as an oligarchic coup d'état.

In that whiney nasal little wimp voice, it will be hard to take. But Trump has shown that he can handle it.

Wallace is a liberal twatwaffle, and he will be under orders from Murdoch and his two sons to skewer Trump. Kelly launched the whole "Trump war on women" schtick in that infamous primary debate under just such orders from the top. Everything, all the way up to the "pussy video" was carefully orchestrated. And they probably still have something more in their garbage can.

Plus I think Trump will have home field advantage in a way. Las Vegas. Right up his alley. He does business there, has hotel property there. A showbiz atmosphere he feels comfortable with.

I could do a search, but does anyone know who is moderating that last debate?

Trump def won last night.

I don't think we've seen the last best card from Assange.

"Hillary had nowhere to go but meek retreat. ‘I’m reminded,’ she said, ‘of what my friend Michelle Obama advised us all: When they go low, you go high."

Spoken by the candidate whose campaign dug up and distributed the 11 year-old tape. Of all of her great moments of hypocrisy, this gem may go down as one of her all-time greatest. And she didn't bat an eye. She truly believes her own BS.

Sig2340, that would be the "tipping point", and you don't want to go there.

Now you support some of Sanders' proposals?

Today's is interesting. Trump's team needs to take this to the Bernie supporters, hard. Because they got shafted by the DNC.

WikiLeaks’ Podesta email release reveals massive Clinton ‘hits’ file on Sanders

Hillary Clinton’s campaign purportedly compiled a massive “hits” file on Democratic primary opponent Bernie Sanders, calling into question his “progressive bona fides” on issues ranging from labor to guns to Wall Street, according to a new trove of emails posted by WikiLeaks.

The 71-page, nearly 50,000-word document was released Monday as the second installment in WikiLeaks’ dump of Clinton Campaign Chairman John Podesta’s alleged emails. The email, titled “PLS REVIEW: Sanders Hits,” was sent by campaign research director Tony Carrk on Oct. 28, 2015 – nearly nine months before the liberal Vermont senator would endorse Clinton following their protracted primary battle.

“Attached are some hits that could either be written or deployed during the next debate on Sanders,” Carrk writes, noting that the immense opposition research file would eventually be expanded with critiques of Sanders’ plan to provide affordable college education.

The document, which was prepared in advance of February’s Iowa caucuses, also notes: “Per HRC’s request,” the research team is “doing a deeper dive on Sanders’s agriculture record.”

The document is broken up into 12 sections, with headings such as “Sanders Is Not Straight with People on His Spending” and “Sanders Not Straight with People on Taxes.” Subcategories then divide the attacks into specific points.

“Sanders, often thought of as a champion of labor unions, accepted support from a company while it was involved in a bitter labor dispute -- locking out union employees for nearly 22 months,” the document states in the “Labor/Pay to Play/Sugar” section. Sanders later voted “to protect the sugar program.”

The document also criticizes Sanders for a lack of specifics on his tax plan.

“Sen. Sanders has not told the American people how much he is going to raise taxes and who is going to pay for them,” one section states. “When confronted on details of his tax plan, he simply says ‘it’s coming.’”

Jason Miller, senior communications adviser to GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, tweeted out a link to the WikiLeaks files on Monday afternoon with the comment: "And here...we...go." Clinton's campaign quickly rebuked Miller for the tweet and alluded to a popular theory that WikiLeaks has deep ties to Russia.

And its all Russia's fault.

Sanders supporters at their core are anti-establishment, so to some extent they have at least one similarity to the base of Trumps core which is to change leadership in DC from a politician.

Outside of that not much Bernie has that I would find good but it'd pull votes from Johnson and Clinton, and that would be good.

The Rapist Enabler has been push polling. I spoke with a friend today. A Clinton Campaign volunteer called. He said it was push polling on the "sex tape scandal". The volunteer (a woman, of course) asked to speak with the lady of the house. He deflected the bullshit and hung up.

I always say that if you want a thing too badly, you're not going to get it, but I want to defeat this disgusting, pandering bitch. Really, I do.
