If Trump just goes in front of a camera this evening, says very forcefully that he understands how vulgar and disgusting his remarks were 11 years ago, and that he regrets being involved in such a "locker room" conversation, this whole thing would be gone by tomorrow morning.

I'm tired of people being forced to be sorry for things they shouldn't be sorry for. Now men can't talk about women among themselves in private?

Not only is what he said not "fatal", but I serious doubt it's even a blip on the radar.

I'm tired of the fakery. I'm tired of the fake apologies. I'm tired of the fake outrage.

Exactly. Not Rubio, not Cruz, not Carson and certainly not Bush. None of them would have motivated the majority of the Right to go vote. Like him or not, Trump was and is our only chance to defeat the evil bitch. Our only chance.

What I don't have is my head up my ass. There were a few things that were pretty clear from the beginning, that are now showing themselves to be true. The biggest one was that Trump was going to be a disaster in the general election, and that's proving true. I REALLY didn't want the Hildabeast to get elected. I saw nominating Trump as the surest way of ensuring that she would be. And you know what? He is.

Voting for Hillary I take it.

Your statement. "I really didn't want Hildabeast elected". Past tense. And then you type the kind of shit like you have been here. Playing that weird defiant liberal victim thing. And all you can say is that you don't watch CNN, although you seem to know their playbook cover to cover.

Not that hard to figure who you are voting for.

So you are voting for Trump even though you feel the election is lost? Didn't vs. Don't. Millions of us with our heads up our asses don't think it's over.

"Getting it" and "believing it" are two very different things.

GF has no problem with. Actually thinks it's funny. She's always had guy friends and they talked like she was one of the guys in front of her. This is mild compared to the potty/locker room talk she's heard.

She likes the campaign sign too. We talked about printing one for our front yard Smile

It is one possible strategy that could work. This was recorded over a year ago:

Unfortunately, the guy is reporting on data that was collected before the news broke of the Trump video. No one who responded in the USC/L.A. times poll he is referencing knew anything about it at the time.

The first time the graph will show results from those sampled with knowledge of the video will be posted tonight at midnight PST. You can see it here:

Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.

Has nothing to do with sin. It has everything to do with talking points. Look at the VP debate. Repeat, repeat, repeat. No substance. Another example- A while back, their president made the claim that most of the perceived American problems (welfare queens, etc) were not true. They were facades that were kept around by talk radio, and their listeners. Notice that Zen brought up Hannity. It is just the liberal playbook and nothing more.

It has nothing to do with sin, and everything to do with being a good soldier and repeating the talking points. And when it doesn't work, you blame everyone else.

The idea that JEB! would be ahead of Hillary in the polls is laughable. JEB! would die a nice slow political death against Hillary (see Mittens Romney). Reading stuff like that on this board shows you how out of touch, and desperate, the left is. Zen knows that Trump is a serious threat to Hillary, and at this point is probably going to be your next president. This is driving the left crazy. Why else do you think it is a full on assault by the left in every facet of daily life?

Agreed it's not about sin. The answer is to help everyone recognize we all talk privately in ways we would never do publicly. Anyone outraged and repulsed enough to act is a hypocrite. The simplicity of the quote is that it illustrates the hypocrisy of the outraged. Those bolting from previous support were looking for a reason to do so.

Henry: I have a tendency to believe those numbers. I just can't see him being hurt by his naughty word 11 years ago. Nobody gives a shit about this. Even my daughter (a left leaning gal) is not put off in the least by this.

Funny, I don't remember the MSM digging this video out in 2008. They must have missed it while they were digging for dirt on Obama just as hard as they are now digging for dirt on Trump....

I'm actually encouraged by this. By their reaction, I can see that this is all they have on Trump. In their relief that finally they can nail him, they are coming unglued about something the vast majority of the population has been doing for years and will do tomorrow on. Tempest teapot.

Trump said we wasn't going to talk about Bill. Could this just be thrown out there for bait? If she starts it then the gloves come off.

I would be the last person here to defend Zippy, but what is he reading here? A part in a play? It is one thing to say something and another entirely to read it from another source.

No it's not. The word is either offensive or it's not. I say it's not. Apparently Obama doesn't think it is either.
