Trump's Huge, Fabulous Immigration Reform Principles
https://www.donaldjtrump.com/p...s/immigration-reform

Let two things be known:

1. It is not possible to get further to the restrictionist side of things than Trump. He has staked out his ground there, and he is alone there. No one else has called for such sweeping -- some would say "punitive," Democrats will undoubtedly say "racist" -- policies to end illegal immigration.

2. Even if you assume Trump is a Bullshit King, you have to concede at least that even if Trump delivered half of what's here, it would be a major Overton-Window-shifting move. I suppose it's theoretically possible that he could just be lying about everything, but assuming he's not lying about everything, then this is pretty much the ne plus ultra of immigration reform outlines.

He tosses this in there:

End birthright citizenship. This remains the biggest magnet for illegal immigration. By a 2:1 margin, voters say it’s the wrong policy, including Harry Reid who said "no sane country" would give automatic citizenship to the children of illegal immigrants.

He also wants to reform the H-1B process, so that the work visas are not used (as they are often alleged to be used) to recruit cheaper younger foreign tech workers to replace older more expensive American ones.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

I am on board with Trump now because of his immigration plan. NumbersUSA just bumped his immigration grade from C+ to A-:

If this plan is still on the table when I vote in the primaries, I will be pulling the lever for whoever is supporting it. If more than one candidate gets on board I will have to make a choice, but if there is only one with this plan, that person will get my vote.

Sen Jeff Sessions called the position paper "exactly the plan America needs."

the Alabama senator said that regular native Americans and especially minorities would benefit by being put first in line for jobs.

"For too long, 'immigration reform' plans in Washington have served the special interests at the expense of working Americans.

By contrast, this plan puts the needs of working Americans foremost, and develops an effective strategy for improving their wages and job prospects.

Crucially, this plan includes an emphasis on lifting struggling minority communities, including our immigrant communities, out of poverty -- by preventing corporations from bringing in new workers from overseas to replace them and drive down wages. When the labor market is oversupplied, it tilts the balance of power away from workers and towards employers."

Then you see stuff like this:

On the Police
"I’m a huge fan of the police. But it’s amazing some of the things I’ve seen. What amazes me, why aren’t they shooting at the legs? It’s so bad for the police, for the image of the police. The choking incident with Eric Garner was terrible, I thought.” - Trump

I think this plan will be a stunning success with the American people. And the more it is denounced by the MSM, the pundits, the Democrats, the RINOs-- the more it will gain support.

This issue alone, which affects Americans and American life NEGATIVELY in so many ways-- is so destructive to the fabric of American life-- could be the election decider.

I don't know man, some Mexican experts have called the plan potentially 'catastrophic':
http://www.mcclatchydc.com/new...article31335389.html

And the WaPo says it's way too radical and would destroy society in the US:
https://www.washingtonpost.com...967a143d3_story.html

I guess I need to rethink my support for this potentially catastrophic plan that could wreak havoc on society!!

Along with Donald's demand that Mexico pay for the wall-- watch Trump's poll numbers rise.

The elites have no idea, none. George Will is gonna be so upset! Zuckerberg. Rove. The gnashing of teeth will be heard from coast to coast. Drowned out only by the cheers of the raggedy assed masses. Smile

I watched O'Reilly tonight and according to Krauthammer and Rove, Donald Trump is the only candidate that can alienate the republican base, especially with his harsh rhetoric on "illegal immigration."

I guess I am completely out of touch, because I thought it was Bush, Christie and all the other beltway republicans that were alienating the base.

With Bush, Rove and Christie the status quo will do. They got their gravy train going and don't want Trump to upset it. If there is one person in the republican race that stands no chance of winning it's Bush.

http://www.breitbart.com/big-g...berg-on-immigration/

In the immigration plan he released Sunday, Donald Trump slammed Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg for making the path easier for immigrants to land jobs at high-tech firms.

Trump pointed out that—unlike his own preference of forcing employers to pay H-1B workers more, thus discouraging their hiring—Zuckerberg champions an increase in the number of H-1B visas available to tech employers. Trump also prefers that tech companies hire Americans first.

Trump wrote of his plan, “This will improve the number of black, Hispanic and female workers in Silicon Valley who have been passed over in favor of the H-1B program. Mark Zuckerberg’s personal Senator, Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)
, has a bill to triple H-1Bs that would decimate women and minorities.”

Rubio, along with Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT), Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), Sen. Chris Coons, and Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), brought the Immigration Innovation bill (“I-Squared”), which would raise the annual cap on H-1B visas from 65,000 to 115,000.

Zuckerberg joined Microsoft founder Bill Gates and Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer to form Fwd.us, which pushes for more H-1B visas.

Trump believes that the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) have enough Americans ready and able to fill the high-tech job industry.

Ron Hira, a Howard University public policy professor, unwittingly revealed the real reason companies like Facebook want an increase in H-1B visas when he stated, “I don’t think you should eliminate the H1-B program. The problem is it’s being abused and it’s a source of very cheap labor.”
*************************

Zuckerberg is on a long list of high visibility people that I really dislike.

Of all the candidates, Rep and Dem, Trump may be the one being the most honest with blacks and Hispanics.
