And destroyed them. When Christ came how was that working out for Israel under Roman occupation? God made a covenant with David to keep Israel, Jesus fulfilled it. Promise made, promise kept. Israel never ruled over the world they just survived it.

What my point is when I see anyone claim that the government or any man can "govern for God" it is folly. There is no reference in the bible to support it.

Bill Kristol of Weekly Standard has been vehemently against Trump and was pushing for a third party run by Ryan or Romney.

In an interview yesterday, Kristol said:

“For me it’s more of a matter of character. I don’t know that you can change your character at age 69, and given the things he’s said even very recently about other people, the way he demeans other people.

But I mean, I guess never say never.

I seriously think that's a factor in the panic among pundits. With establishment candidates, they at least knew they would be part of the "club". That may be a thing of the past.

I was a Cruz guy starting out, but I voted for Trump today - 2 reasons, Cruz hasn't campaigned well & I want the voters to lock it up. My 2nd choice is better than the alternative of GOPe fucking it up or Hillary.
The only yard signs I've seen are for Trump. Oddly enough, the only bumper stickers I see are Bernie.

I believe Cruz would have been doing better today had he taken that advice himself. For the last several months it has been more about how terrible Trump is vs. how horrible Hillary is or how good Cruz is.

Interesting story on CNN this morning in relation to Carrier plant workers.
Their union officially supports Sanders, but Trump is popular with the rank and file.
One quote that stuck out is they hold Hillary accountable for NAFTA which they blame on their jobs going south.

I just posted about Bill Kristol.

If I wanted to attack Kristol, I would have written about how stupid, ineffective, and politically suicidal it would be to run a third party "conservative". It would guarantee a Clinton victory.

What is important about Kristol's statement yesterday is that there are glimmers of hope appearing that the Republicans will come together to support Trump. We will need every Republican uniting to defeat Clinton.

NeverTrump people are effectively tools for Clinton. George Will is another example. These people, formerly seen as wise and leaders, are being exposed as pompous elite fools.

Trump gets to 56%

Polls are meaningless. We can't ignore the fact that polls are meaningless, merely because we like the results.

Polls don't mean squat, because they can be manipulated.

Results are the only thing that matters.

Just back from voting for Trump in southern Indiana. Turn out was moderately heavy, considerably more than typical primaries. Most voters that I saw had gop ballots and I predict Indiana goes decidedly for Trump.

The Minneapolis Star-Tribune does Polls, and they are incredibly manipulated, biased, and unreliable. Always seem to justify their Leftist Agenda. Here's one from Sunday:

This! I as many here started as a Cruz guy and turned as I learned more and time went on.

It was Cruz who beat Cruz.
