Some information on Melania Trump...the next First Lady Melania Trump It’s no surprise really that this Slovenian-born stunner was a model in her younger days, and actually started her modeling career at the tender age of 5! By 16, she was doing professional commercials and was a familiar face to many. Now aged 45, as we mentioned, Donald Trump’s wife was born Melanija Knavs in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. But she soon became well known internationally and moved to Milan, Italy, when she was 18. She was often spotted in Paris too and moved to America in the mid-1990s, becoming a permanent resident there in 2006. And why should she, as she is now married to one of the wealthiest men in the world. For her 2005 wedding to Donald Trump, Melania wore a John Galliano gown! The wedding itself, party included, cost Donald a cool $1 million! Melania Trump is far from just a pretty face, she is a whole lot more than just that. Having studied architecture and design at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia, this girl clearly has a good head on her shoulders. She launched her own jewelry line on QVC in 2010 and made a tidy packet from that venture, among many others. As well as always looking stunning, and making plenty of money with her various business ventures, Melania is thought to be a dedicated mother to her 9-year-old son Barron, who she had with Donald. While she supports her husband’s Presidential aspirations totally, she told Walters recently that when it comes to her son, “I’m raising him and this is the age he needs a parent at home.” Barron Trump has his own floor in the Trump penthouse in Manhattan. As you may well know (or at least assume) the Trumps own several properties, all tastefully decorated down to the last detail by you know who, Melania. For example, the Trump’s three-story penthouse in Trump Towers is opulent to say the least, and is decorated in 24K gold and the finest marble. At the time Melania met Donald Trump, during a fashion week party back in 1998, he was actually dating another woman! This little-known fact was revealed by Melania during a Harper’s Bazaar interview in 2016, where the soon-to-be Mrs Trump spilled the proverbial beans: “He wanted my number, but he was with a date, so of course I didn’t give it to him,” she said. Instead she took his number(s) as he ended up giving her all of them. She revealed in that Harper’s Bazaar interview that she follows everything her husband is doing “from A-Z” But choses not to join him in the limelight for her own personal reasons. It goes without saying that all is not rosy in the marriage of Donald Trump and Melania, just like any marriage we guess. While the couple agree on most things, they certainly don’t agree on everything. As she said in this interview, “I give him my opinions, and sometimes he takes them in, and sometimes he does not,” continuing, “Do I agree with him all the time? No. I think it is good for a healthy relationship. I am not a ‘yes’ person. No matter who you are married to, you still need to lead your life.” Being that Donald Trump is just a tad older than Melania, it stands to reason that she is not his first wife, in fact she’s his third. His first two marriages were wrought with issues, which the tabloid press picked up on and reported relentlessly at the time. He married his first wife Ivana in 1977, until he was caught having an affair with Marla Maples. He married Maples in 1993 but that marriage only lasted for 6 years. With Donald having been married to three different women, Melania Trump gained four step-kids as a result of the marriage. Melania has her hands in several charity organizations, including The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the Police Athletic League, and The American Red Cross. When asked by The New York Times how she would support her husband as President, Melania replied, “I would be very traditional. Like Betty Ford or Jackie Kennedy. I would support him.” Having had the good fortune of living all over the world, Melania has achieved fluency in four languages: Slovenian, English, French, Serbian and German. Melania Trump is 45, which means she’s just seven years older than Trump’s oldest son, Donald Trump, Jr. That must make for an interesting Thanksgiving dinner! 41 41

Trump says "We love our protesters". A 4th protester. Trump says "Get him out of here" something bigger going on. Trump had to stop for a minute or more. 5th protester. crowd shouting them down. Trump: "Isn't this more fun than a rally where 39 people show up?" "they're not protesters, they are agitators" Taking several minutes to get it resolved. back to Trump.

“Wrought” with issues—? Fraught, perhaps? Slight thread drift.....someone a while back, mentioned how fast this thread was growing compared to the cat thread. It took the cat thread 4 years and 2 months to hit page 312, this one did it in 9 months

Anyone think Vogue and all those other nonsense magazines will fawn over Melania they way they do over Michelle? It drives me crazy how they try to convince everyone that Michelle is the most beautiful and stylish women ever to walk the planet. My guess is that with Melania, they will take the older guy/younger woman gold digger angle instead.

Are you kidding? She'll be the second obviously beautiful First Lady we've ever had, and certainly the most overtly hot one. They'll be fawning all over her, like she's a fucking Princess or Queen, one who is actually, already, stylish and successful in her own right. She'll be the most interesting one we've had, and as all over everything as she'll put up with.

These people have gone off the deep end. http://www.nytimes.com/2016/03...ican-party.html?_r=0 Republican leaders adamantly opposed to Donald J. Trump’s candidacy are preparing a 100-day campaign to deny him the presidential nomination, starting with an aggressive battle in Wisconsin’s April 5 primary and extending into the summer, with a delegate-by-delegate lobbying effort that would cast Mr. Trump as a calamitous choice for the general election. But should that effort falter, leading conservatives are prepared to field an independent candidate in the general election The names of a few well-known conservatives have been offered up in recent days as potential third-party standard-bearers, and William Kristol, editor of The Weekly Standard, has circulated a memo to a small number of conservative allies detailing the process by which an independent candidate could get on general-election ballots across the country. Among the recruits under discussion are Tom Coburn, a former Oklahoma senator who has told associates that he would be open to running, and Rick Perry, the former Texas governor who was suggested as a possible third-party candidate at a meeting of conservative activists on Thursday in Washington. David McIntosh, president of the conservative Club for Growth, which has spent millions on ads attacking Mr. Trump, said his group met on Wednesday and concluded it was still possible to avert Mr. Trump’s nomination. The group plans a comprehensive study of Trump supporters to sharpen a message aimed at driving them away from him. ****************** talk about a civil war back on page 334 is a ltr from David McIntosh asking Trump for a millions dollars to have a "dramatically positive impact".

Some of these fools have debilitating cases of elephantitus of the ego. If we had many real Republican Leaders, there would be no successful Trump campaign.

Rick Perry is campaigning with Cruz. He was just in AZ with him last night, so I don't get why his name is being floated. He's a pretty good guy and I can't see him wanting to be responsible for handing the election to Hillary.

In February Perry said: "The fact of the matter is I think this campaign, if there is an odd twist to it, it will be that no one gets enough of the nomination, gets enough of the delegates to get the nomination, and you go to a brokered convention. At that particular point in time, it's a whole new ballgame for everyone." "That could be a new ballgame for you," Burnett said. "Everyone," Perry said. http://www.cnn.com/2016/02/25/...brokered-convention/ However it has also been reported that very recently Perry said he was not interested in running third party. The "guilty" party in all this is Bill Kristol. ************************** Paul Ryan will chair the 2016 Republican Convention. Some of the things he will do: - Entertain and rule on parliamentary appeals. Consider amendment proposals governing the rules on the floor. - preside during the roll call for the presidential and vice presidential nominees. - sign nominating documents - make decisions if key party leaders or delegations attempt to challenge rules, nominations or who’s seated. http://www.foxnews.com/politic...on.html?intcmp=hpbt2

This is really starting to read like "How to steal "our" election back from our people". Republican royalty is gonna regret this if the delegate winner is not nominated.
