Thursday at his weekly briefing, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan said Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump suggesting there could be riots if he doesn’t win the nomination this summer at the GOP convention in Cleveland was “unacceptable.”

Ryan said, “Nobody should say such things, in my opinion because to even address or hint at violence is unacceptable.”

In that same spirit, I would like to bitch-slap Paul Ryan. Is that wrong?

Paul Ryan's notion of what America finds unacceptable is hilariously, tragically, wrong.

I find Paul Ryan unacceptable. I pray he will soon be unemployed. I knew he would be a shit bag and I fucking hate him. Anyone who gets schooled by shot gun Joe Biden in a debate has no place in power in the Republican Party. Mad Mad Mad

Good old Harry Reid:

Democratic Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid spent his morning smacking around Donald Trump, but then was forced to admit just how many voters The Donald was bringing to the polls.

Taking his final question during an appearance at the Center for American Progress think tank in Washington, Reid was asked about the often record-breaking turnout being set by the high-octane primary going on across the aisle.

'It's something we can't ignore,' the Nevada Democrat said, adding that most political experts believe the increased turnout is because of the 'rivalry within the Republican party.'

'With the Democrats we've had this thing going on with Hillary and Bernie for a long time, but it was kind of a lovefest, they wouldn't criticize each other,' Reid explained, noting that the Democrats have hit each other a little harder in the last month or so.

But even so, Reid said, 'there was simply not as much interest in the Democrats as the Republicans.'

'I think that Donald Trump has brought people out that have not voted before and I think this is something that should be a concern for the American people, ' Reid said.

********************

well of course. Because the Democrats are always so concerned when new people vote. What if 12 million people who aren't citizens, who aren't even here legally, started to vote in our elections? Harry is on to something.

It is good that he is retiring. He and his brother can have brawls whenever they want in a few months.

Sometimes, without realizing it, Harry's inner asshole takes over his mouth and he says what he really thinks...purely by accident of course.

Pelosi, Obama, and Christie do it all the time, but not by accident...they're just really in touch with their inner assholeness.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. It's going to be a long summer.

For the Trump supporters, who do you think he picks as VP? Conventional wisdom currently says he'll pick Kasich - to give him Ohio and help him in the midwest. How do you guys feel about a Trump/Kasich ticket?

I would rather sandpaper my eyeballs!

He keeps bragging about how much good he did for Ohio. But, as Trump pointed out, if they had not discovered oil there the state would be in deep crap.

And Kasich did not put the oil there.
