Every time I see Hillary's slogan, "Fighting for you!" I think of PT Barnum's "There's a sucker born every minute." Gathered there, around that slogan, are decades of suckers, clapping their sucker hands, cheering their sucker lungs out. Young suckers, old suckers, blond suckers, brunette suckers, professionals, blue collars, educated, white, black, suckers, suckers, suckers, suckers, suckers. "She's fighting for us!" Right. Suckers. ______________________________________________________ "You get much farther with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone."

Denver and Carolina make the Super Bowl, but the Patriots are pissed because they think their team should always win, so the night of the game they steal the Lombardy Trophy (and let the air out of all the footballs...because it's what they do) and declare themselves champions.

here is a link to a Rush Limbaugh session: Kasich: The Last Best Hope of Desperate Establishment Trying to Hold Its Power http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/da...ng_to_hold_its_power It is a bit long, and Rush Limbaugh has a way that can be annoying, but I think he is accurate in his general theme here. He talks about who the "establishment" is and why sometimes they don't care if they lose elections. It is all about them staying in power and money. He defines the establishment as some elite subset of politicians, media, and political consultants. Limbaugh says he doesn't think they will succeed in stealing the election from Trump or Cruz, but they are going to try to. He also thinks Kasich is in a delusional state. And also underhanded enough to plot to cheat and willingly deny the voters choice.

Ol' Jack always says... what the hell. |
He's right, politics is it's own "industry" now. Outsiders only threaten that industry because the people then see there are more choices other than what they, the establishment, tell us our choices are.

And this what most people do not understand; the "information" they get from the media on Trump is tailored to their agenda of keeping power and the funny money flowing in. Because when Trump becomes President, pockets are going to get much lighter in the "inner circle". Trump should be pounding this: http://www.breitbart.com/big-g...rms-black-americans/ Illegal and low-skilled immigration disproportionally harms the job prospects and wages of black Americans, Peter Kirsanow, a commissioner on the U.S. Civil Rights Commission, told a Senate panel Wednesday. According to Kirsanow the reason black Americans and other low skilled American workers lose out is largely due to employer’s ability to offer lower wages to illegal workers. “It’s not because low skilled American workers, regardless of race, are unwilling to perform such jobs, it is that they are unwilling to do such jobs at the cut-rate wages and sometime sub-standard working conditions tendered to illegal immigrants,” Kirsanow said, noting illegal immigrants are unlikely to complaint to government agencies about those poor working conditions. The negative affects of these phenomena, he said, are most prevalent in metropolitan areas and during times like the current economic stagnation.

Restructuring The Myth of Voter Irrelevance Paul Ryan today seems to have again taken a shot at Trump for saying that if the insiders try to underhandedly deny Trump the nomination, their could be riots. Well, on the one hand, Ryan has a point about violence but, on the other, Trump has a greater point about the visceral reaction that may erupt in the electorate. Ryan and others are trying to make a preemptive strike, but not against violence, against resistance. I have used the example of my wife, then a woman in her 20s, being so viscerally incensed that she wound up on a chair yelling, “Riot! Riot!” What I did not say was that she was not alone. What I also did not say is that the insiders backed off after what had to be 20 minutes of unconvincing explanations from the podium about how this small group of insiders had the right to define certain candidates out of convention existence. It wasn’t a riot but boy was it loud and heated. No fists were thrown but every underhanded answer ratcheted up the crowd. Knowing Ryan had earlier not put aside his own willingness to step in to be president from the convention, it is hard to see Ryan’s comments about Trump as neutral or statesmanlike. Ryan has an agenda and, already, the agitation is building because the Rules Committee members are seemingly agreeing with a number of ways to thwart the will of even a majority of primary voters – providing projections hold. It is true that the founders put in systems like the electoral college at the national level to protect the United States from ”mobocracy” – the notion that voters could pick a clearly Un-American candidate. Mobocracy was an elitist notion with a protective intent. But, it may be time to recognize that with mass media and instant communication, voters are more savvy with better information now. I suppose Jackson could have been noted as a “mobocracy” president because he was a populist. Yet, we survived Jackson and his populism lasted for many election cycles. He was populist, not Un-American. The Republican primary is shockingly to most people subject to party Rules as a private entity. But, the only reason there is a Republican party at all is because there are voters who support it. Without the people’s support, the Republican party could turn into the Bull-Moose party or any number of others that have disappeared. What the Republican establishment, the keepers of the flame, should fear is that they put on a football game where no one shows up. Empty stands means that the party has no reason to be. Third party? Maybe. Loss of influence and realignment? That is for sure to happen from this election cycle if the Trump addition to the party is not embraced. The Democrats are so far left that one needs a captain’s glass to see their flag sail off the edge of the flat earth they want to make. So, now, the time is ripe for the elites within the Republican party to back off of jamming their “anyone but Trump” agenda on the voters. They should choke down what they think is an un-ideal candidate like we voters have done for so many years. Discussions of metaphorical riots and heated backlash may need to actually increase to counter the early set-up of what the insiders intend at the convention. That Cruz and Kasich are wanting to pick up a win at convention is distasteful as well because although the process is historically part of the system, it just may not fly this time. Ryan is trying to tamp down a possible visceral voter reaction but he lacks the credibility to do it. _______________________________ NRA Life Member NRA Certified Range Safety Officer

I think the "Stop Trump!" movement has officially reached the level of hysteria. Scan the internet news sites--surf through Fox News, MSNBC, CNN-- check out the WaPo, NYT-- and you would literally think that Satan was running for president, Beelzebub himself, and winning. There are many, many cars in The Gravy Train that Trump threatens to derail: politicians of both parties, (i.e. the Uniparty), lobbyists, corporations, fat cats, the entire MSM, special interest groups. And on board, all are in a complete, wild eyed, frothing-at-the-mouth panic. It's a beautiful sight to behold. Thank you, Donald. If you did nothing more than this to expose and upset the Washington cartel, I would bow to you. But you have more to do. Much more. ______________________________________________________ "You get much farther with a kind word and a gun than with a kind word alone."
