I heard both Rubio and Cruz say that Trump's rhetoric was the cause. Screw those two.

A couple of months ago, I had a very high opinion of Cruz. It has plummeted. Of course Rubio would blame Trump for the violence-- that's Rubio, a conniving twerp.

Now I can't stand Cruz's voice. It sounds...oily. Slick. It is full of phoniness. It's the voice of the guy who puts his arm around your shoulder and pledges to help you find who slashed your tires as he tucks the folding knife into his back pocket.

The more time goes by the better I understand the partnership of Cruz and Glenn Beck.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — An Egyptian flight student who was arrested after he wrote on his Facebook page that he would be willing to serve a life sentence for killing Donald Trump agreed Friday to leave the United States by July.

Immigration authorities will allow Emadeldin Elsayed, 23, to return home voluntarily instead of deporting him, as long as he departs by July 5.

Elsayed has not been charged with a crime but had his visa revoked by the State Department and is being held at a Southern California jail.

His lawyer, Hani Bushra, told Immigration Judge Kevin Riley in Los Angeles that he may seek another bond hearing for the aspiring pilot from Cairo because he believes Elsayed's detention is illegal.

Bushra said after the hearing that he understands why the Feb. 3 Facebook post led to his client being investigated. But in the absence of criminal charges, Elsayed should be freed, the attorney said.

"He's being detained, I think, primarily because he's a Muslim and he's a Middle Easterner," Bushra said, adding that social media sites are teeming with similar comments. "This kid is going to become a poster boy for hating America."

Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested Elsayed at his Los Angeles-area flight school on Feb. 12, eight days after the Secret Service interviewed him about his post on the Republican presidential front-runner.

Threatening a presidential candidate is a crime, regardless of a person's immigration status, Arnold said.

So they're letting him leave voluntarily without charges?

This is all going to encourage the whack jobs to violence knowing they won't be held accountable.

It's gonna be a hot summer.

I agree. Rubio now comes across as a spoiled little kid. Quite frankly, I think he has thrown his career down the toilet, which is where it should be!

So as more and more info comes out on Rubio and Cruz, and you obviously do not like Trump, just who would you support for president?

How about good ol' GOPe Mitt? Or maybe shotgun Joe or the hildabeast?

That's the plan, same reason they're importing Syrian "refugees" and the open border to the south.

If the question is "what next", and we assume that agitators/protesters will continue to provoke, the dilemma is how to handle the expected demonstrations.

One solution is to create a corps of able-bodied individuals that can protect and ensure that future rallies are orderly and safe. Clearly, this will bring about comparisons with brown shirts, black shirts and red shirts.

To avoid such comparisons, a different color should be employed, one that will elicit feelings of calmness but efficiency, of pleasantness but strict organization. There is only one color that resembles that and it is light-blue. With a hint of gold/yellow, because we all know how much he likes gold. And a dash of red to evoke its roots.

In addition, the name of the group must instill a feeling of readiness at a moment's notice and only one phrase can attain that---the Active Guard.

No need to thank me. Just doing my part.

^^^ You actually raise a good point. No, it would be a mistake for Trump supporters to form some kind of guard. For obvious reasons. (And I know you are joking.) After Chicago, the police should be on heightened alert from now on-- in greater force and readiness. Let them handle it. The Chicago police did very well.

I'm not saying that Trump supporters inside a hall should not react to help restore order if "protestors", say, try to rush the stage. I believe they should. And will. Smile

Trump protester at St Louis yesterday

Hours before the organized chaos in Chicago canceled a Donald Trump event on Friday night, rowdy protesters repeatedly interrupted Trump’s rally and speech in St. Louis.

The rally was interrupted six times by protesters in the first half hour alone

He is being detained because he threatened a Presidential candidate. How many years did you spend in law school Mr. Bushra? Apparently you weren't paying attention to what you were supposed to be learning.

It's amazing his right to do that is protected free speech- Do that to the Koran or the Hezbollah Flag with the word Allah on it and see how long your Right to free speech is protected.

We could argue about that. A force of 300 officers who had advance notice of the potential seems to me like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

We could also argue about the mass media putting the blame on Trump. That's what they do, don't they? And they quickly forget that before a rally, the attendance is given specific instructions on how to handle agitators.

What the establishment is seeking, along with the marginal groups, is to shut down his campaign. Last night was only a prelude---they can and will play the blame game ad nauseam.

Regardless if their strategy backfires, and early indications show that it did, the truth of the matter is that a Presidential candidate with Secret Service protection is being placed in an untenable position. Succinctly, damn if you do/damn if you don't.

So be forewarned. This is turning out into a dirty game. How do we like it? How would anyone enjoy having the agitators in charge? Beyond stating that they already were.

VOTE.

Kasich speaking now on Fox News...also taking the path of Rubio and Cruz stating that Trump is to blame for what is going on, but yet just said that you don't wrestle in the mud with Trump, you do it with policy talk, and that Trump needs to "stop it". What a freaking moron. You just wrestled in the mud, picked up a big handful, threw it at his face then hid your hand and looked the other way. Roll Eyes

Facebook page of group called Stop Trump - Chicago

https://www.facebook.com/events/1060752830629598/

On Friday, March 11th, Donald Trump will be holding a campaign rally at the UIC Pavilion in Chicago. This is a STUDENT-LED event dedicated to gathering a large group of people regardless of race, gender, religion, sexuality, political affiliation, etc. to unite in solidarity AGAINST the Donald Trump campaign and its presence at Chicago and at UIC.

UPDATES:
We will be meeting as a collective at 4:30PM at the UIC East Campus Quad to start our protest! We have decided to push our meeting time back half an hour from the original time of 5PM. We will then make our way to the Pavilion in solidarity. Instead, we will aim to be at the Pavilion by 5PM. We apologize for the sudden change, and sincerely hope that it does not alter your plan to support this cause. Update everyone you know who plans to attend about our starting location! Map of the location is in the image below and circled in red.

**Buying tickets and then not showing up WILL NOT BE EFFECTIVE. The Pavilion will be filled with overflow crowd if people with tickets do not show up. Make sure to spread this as well.**

For those of you able to get tickets to the event, we are not responsible for the actions you take with your ticket. If you would like assistance from us in order to uphold our message and protect your safety, please feel free to message us and we will be making the proper connections as needed in the near future. If you got a ticket and would like to attend the actual Trump Rally, get there early! His website says doors open at 3PM and we're sure others will be there even earlier than that.

Reasons for protesting:
-Trump has called for the complete and total shutdown of all Muslims entering the United States. He has claimed that Islam and Muslims are hateful and terrorists and must be barred entrance until he decides otherwise.

-Trump has generalized the entire Mexican immigrant community as criminals and rapists. He calls for the mass deportation of 11 million adults and children alike regardless of how long they have lived in the United States. He also calls for the building of a giant wall to separate us from our long-time allies in Mexico.

-Trump has advocated FOR war crimes such as but not limited to torture-interrogation, mass murder as a warning, the intentional murder of entire civilian families, and the indiscriminatory bombing of countries in the Middle East.

-Trump has consistently refused to disavow and condemn the white supremacist hate groups such as the KKK that support and work for his campaign.

-Trump has preyed on the fears of poor and middle class whites while at the same time not offering any policies that would support them in overcoming the very serious and real challenges that they also face in America.

-Trump's nativist, nationalist, and fascist stances parallel the most evil leaders this world has seen such as Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini.

-Trump shows a childlike temperament that would jeopardize our national security and potentially start unnecessary conflicts.

There are surely many other reasons that one may choose to condemn Trump's campaign. All are valid and acknowledged. The list grows with every passing day...

So have any of the remaining Republican nominees assigned blame to the actual protesters yet? All I've seen so far is all blame being laid at Trump's feet.

Every punch I saw thrown last night was by a protester.

Fuck Rubio.

Fuck Kasich.

Fuck Cruz. And I say this as a (now) former Ted supporter.

I would have still been in Cruz's corner today if he had condemned the protesters instead of Trump. He essentially took the side of a bunch of dirty fucking hippie, liberal, free-shit, Goddamn Commies. Fuck you Ted. And Fuck You Twice Again. You showed your true character last night and this morning. Trump was right about you, you lying, sniveling sack of shit.

I have no doubt that Trump knew what he was doing when he picked that venue. Seemed to work out well to his advantage. Shows the left for what they are. Shows the current GOP line-up for what they are as well.
