When CNN’s Lemon asks Trump if he is going to postpone every rally because of the threat of protests, Trump says, “well, would you like me to have them, Don, and you’d like to see people killed?”

Trump says it will depend… will be a on a case-by-case basis. Trump said people could have been hurt badly tonight and law enforcement has given him credit for making the right decision. Trump says he is not a person that wants to see violence, wants to see people hurt.

He also says there are “certain groups” that agitate and “cause problems” and “they have caused problem” and they have stopped the right of free speech

It would look bad to admit they're being paid to show up.

I caught a quick glimpse of it on Fox News, and there was a blurb saying that the protest was organized by moveon.org.

Megyn Kelly and her crew saying Trump excites his crowd to look for and expect violence against the protesters. Taking a shot at both Trump and his supporters.

It has been all over in Chicago for hours. But Fox keeps airing violence over and over-- the same incidents-- as if it is still happening.

Trump made the right decision in postponing the rally. It minimized the violence. They were all set to really fuck things up, and he basically took away the theatre and left them a sideshow.

Rubio is such a greasy little weasel that he tried to blame Trump without directly coming out and blaming Trump.

Cruz took the occasion to dump on Trump and tout himself.

Megan Kelly is blaming Trump for his inflammatory language-- THAT is what caused this whole thing.

Go Trump!!!

I would call it the Trump train but it's actually the train of American pride or perhaps even the train of common sense.
We're long done with giving a shit for all of your crybaby complaints about mistreatments, fairness, and racial cards.

I would disagree....see para's "I cleaned my rifle today" post.....it means we know who the enemy is and Trump just had them show their collective asses.....

this will play well everywhere but a few liberal enclaves

I wonder if any of the protesters will be prosecuted under H.R. 347.

If not, perhaps the Hell's Angels should be hired as security detail for Trump's rallies.

From what I'm reading on social media these BLM assholes fucked themselves. I'm seeing quite a few posts by people who were on the fence between Trump and Cruz and after what happened tonight they are now supporting Trump. I'm one of them.

It wouldn't go over well, but a sniper team might be better...

Both? I thought the lack of violence was due to the problem of staging a fight with one person.

Yeah, Fox had these protesters on all night long. They got national coverage and a lot of personal interviews. In their book, this was a huge success. This kind of crap will be number one in their playbook now for the rest of the election season thanks to Fox and the rest of the MSM. Mad

I heard both Rubio and Cruz say that Trump's rhetoric was the cause. Screw those two.

Well, on the other side of the coin, Trump dominated the news and I do believe that he gained a lot of new supporters who are fed up with this shit.

1 Ted Cruz
2 Chicago PD

both wrong in my opinion

Ted Cruz is responding to Donald Trump's cancellation of his Chicago rally, saying the billionaire has created "an environment that encourages this sort of nasty discourse."

Cruz says blame for the events in downtown Chicago rests with the protesters but "in any campaign responsibility starts at the top."

Cruz says, "When the candidate urges supporters to engage in physical violence, to punch people in the face, the predictable consequence of that is that is escalates. Today is unlikely to be the last such incidence."

and then,

A spokesman for the Chicago Police Department says the agency never recommended that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump cancel his campaign rally in the city.

CPD spokesman Anthony Guglielmi tells The Associated Press that the department never told the Trump campaign there was a security threat at the University of Illinois at Chicago venue. He said the department had sufficient manpower on the scene to handle any situation.

Guglielmi says the university's police department also did not recommend that Trump call off the event. He says the decision was made "independently" by the campaign.

Trump cancelled the rally in Chicago due to what organizers said were safety concerns after protesters packed into the arena where it was to take place.

I am thoroughly disgusted with the left wing assholes in this country. They seem to think that getting violent is somehow legal and is simply their exercising their free speech.

I remember when in Germany there were some violent demonstrations over nuke power plants. And those "peaceniks" were getting really violent.

News interviewed an elderly German man and asked him what he thought should be done to rein in these violent demonstrations.

His response was that the police should employ flame throwers. Reporter responded, "Don't you mean water cannons?" His response, "NO! I said flame thrower and I meant flame thrower."

My suggestion would be to arm all the police and security personnel there with stun guns. You start any violent shit, you get introduced to "ol' sparky". Amazing what about 50K volts applied to the riffraff will do for peace and quiet.
