Roll Eyes

For chrissakes, he has over 200,000 volunteers working for his campaign. One of them, who isn't even affiliated with his campaign, forwarded a headline on Drudge in an email newsletter. Is he supposed to be able to control what every single volunteer does? Give me a break.

I just hope that whoever survives the circular firing squad we can all come together and make sure they beat the stuffing out of the hildabeast.

As wound up as folks are getting on both sides here in this relatively cohesive group, I shudder to think how things will shake out across the country.

Trump needs to fire Cory Lewandoski, fast. Assault & battery on a female Breitbart reporter in public and in front of witnesses.

Breitbart is still sucking up to Trump by only wanting an apology.

But he isn't doing himself any good w stuff like this:

Zactly, I have a lot of respect for Cruz and think he would be a great president however I am likely to vote for Trumph because I just want to bust GOP establishment shit up in Washington. Now Cruz calls me stupid? Not to smart for a Harvard guy.

He didn't call you stupid. From just in your post, you are obviously one of the angry voters he referred to.

There's nothing untrue about what he said.

I know what Cruz said but what I "heard" was him calling me stupid and I really can't recall the last time I was angry at anything. Being angry is a very rare event for me.

I don't think Trump needs to fire his campaign manager. In 1968, Robert Kennedy's security detail knocked my kid ass to the ground because I asked Robert for an autograph (wasn't being pushy either), and I got over it. Ethyl felt bad for me and after helping me up gave me her autograph LOL. Kennedy went to California and you know that story. Reporters jobs are to toss an elbow, muscle in and get the story, not saying he should have or shouldn't have touched her, but she needs to toughen up or get a social service job.

SDY, that empty Rubio rally in the Florida stadium is impressive. I looked it up and got a better view and posted it below. Wow. It's unreal. Past time for Rubio to bow out of the race.

Most normal people would be horrified at such a turn out at such large venue.

Only the most delusional nutjob would not take that as a clear sign to go the fuck home.

Sorry, i'm not buying what they're selling just yet. I want video of the incident. You know there's one floating around somewhere given there was a whole flock of media types there.

That's why some are saying if Rubio loses Florida AND he continues to push on in the race, his political career could very well be over. He may be ending his own political career regardless with just the Florida loss and how he's acted the past couple of weeks.

Rubio needs to end his campaign before the Florida primary. If he looses as badly as projected, it will be fodder for his competitors for the rest of his political career.

Campaign manager does NOT equal security.

Trumps own team can't decide if it happened.
Hope Hicks issued this statement to ABC

Lewandoski's "explanation" to Breitbart:
Lewandoski's "Explanation"
quote:
“It’s obviously unacceptable that someone crossed a line and made physical contact with our reporter,” said the Breitbart statement, issued under the name of Larry Solov, the outlet’s CEO and president. “What Michelle has told us directly is that someone ‘grabbed her arm’ and while she did not see who it was, Ben Terris of The Washington Post told her that it was Corey Lewandowski. If that’s the case, Corey owes Michelle an immediate apology.”
The statement was issued in the wee hours of Wednesday morning but remains Breitbart’s official comment on the matter, hours after sources said Lewandowski acknowledged to Breitbart’s Washington political editor, Matthew Boyle, that he did manhandle Fields.
Lewandowski’s explanation to Boyle, said these sources, was that he and Fields had never met before and that he didn’t recognize her as a Breitbart reporter, instead mistaking her for an adversarial member of the mainstream media.

The Washington Post's Ben Terris witnessed the battery on fields:
Staffers Willing to Fight for Him
quote:
The original Trump crew, the four who had been there from the start, stood at the fringe of the news conference, watching as their boss trash-talked his competitors, hawked Trump products that may or may not exist, touted his Michigan and Mississippi primary wins, and berated the media. They smirked, nudged one another and laughed. When they started together, last summer, the press and the political ruling class treated them like a joke. Now they’re winning so much their heads are spinning.

But from the beginning, they had been fiercely loyal, willing to fight for their candidate. Sometimes to a fault.

When Donald Trump descended into the crowd after speaking Tuesday night, the instinct to defend kicked in.

As security parted the masses to give him passage out of the chandelier-lit ballroom, Michelle Fields, a young reporter for Trump-friendly Breitbart News, pressed forward to ask the GOP front-runner a question. I watched as a man with short-cropped hair and a suit grabbed her arm and yanked her out of the way. He was Corey Lewandowski, Trump’s 41-year-old campaign manager.

Fields stumbled. Finger-shaped bruises formed on her arm.

“I’m just a little spooked,” she said, a tear streaming down her face. “No one has grabbed me like that before.”

She took my arm and squeezed it hard. “I don’t even want to do it as hard as he did,” she said, “because it would hurt.”

Trump campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks denied the account in a statement released Thursday afternoon:

“The accusation, which has only been made in the media and never addressed directly with the campaign, is entirely false. As one of the dozens of individuals present as Mr. Trump exited the press conference I did not witness any encounter. In addition to our staff, which had no knowledge of said situation, not a single camera or reporter of more than 100 in attendance captured the alleged incident.”

Attacks hit personally
As it happened, I had plans the following day to interview Lewandowski and three other early campaign staffers: Michael Glassner, the campaign’s national politics director, once an aide to former senator Bob Dole; Daniel Scavino, the social media strategist who started with Trump as a teenage caddy; and communications director Hope Hicks, a Ralph Lauren model-turned-publicist who first entered politics last year when her boss did.

But just before I arrived for our meetings at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s crown jewel resort in Palm Beach, news broke that I had been a witness to the incident between Fields and Lewandowski. I sat in the gilded, cavernous lobby, kept company by the naked golden cherubs on the lamp beside me, watching the waitstaff scurry about and feeling like I was being watched myself. Terrance, the chiseled man who directed me to stay put, informed me that the cameras would let them know if I wandered.

...

After a while, Lewandowski texted me with news of a change of heart about our interview: “I’ll pass.” Then Terrance came by to walk me off the premises.

Din of people talking, clanking of glasses, snippets of conversation, reporters telling one another to 'move up a little', greeting each other, saying 'good to see you' saying 'OK good quote then', then clearly action picks up as cameras start clicking.

Fields: “Mr. Trump, you went after the late Scalia for affirmative action, do you -- are you still against affirmative action?"

Voice (allegedly Corey Lewandowski): “Excuse me, thank you.”

A few moments later (noise of the room can be heard)...

Terris: “You OK?"

Fields: “Holy sh*t."

Terris: “Yea he just threw you down."

Fields: “I can’t believe he just did that that was so hard. Was that Corey?"

Terris: “Yeah, like, what threat were you?"

Fields: "That was insane. You should have felt how hard he grabbed me. That's insane. I’ve never had anyone do that to me from a campaign."

Terris: “Can I put that in my story?"

Fields: “Yeah, go for it — that was really awful. That’s so unprofessional.”

Terris: “He really just almost threw you down on the ground."

Fields: “He literally went like this and was grabbing me down. I don’t even what to do [about] what he just did to me. Oh my God, that really spooked me that someone would do that."

Terris: “What threat were you?"

Fields: “Nothing. I was asking about affirmative action."

Terris: “And he probably knows you, right?"

Fields: “Yeah, I don’t understand. That looks horrible. You’re going after a Breitbart reporter, the people who are nicest to you?"

Terris: “I know, I’m going to put it in my story."

The two stop talking. Din/noise of people talking, glasses clinking continue through end of the recording.

Currently Lewandoski is denying any battery and the campaign & Lewandoski have started a smear campaign about Fields.

Did any of you catch the CAIR news conference today demanding that Trump apologize to Muslims?

I caught a bit of their BS listening to Savage nation today. It was funny to listen to.

Stuff like this makes me like Trump even more.

If you look at all the groups and countries lining up against Trump, I think he would be good for the freedom loving Americans. Not so much for the America haters.

I also have a message for Cruz. Yes, I am angry and NO I'm not stupid.
