That is, until the following week, where all bets are off.

Dude, you owe sdy an apology. His posts have been non argumentative, and all backing up Trump. His is one of the clearer heads in this thread.

You are one hundred percent correct.

That headline is all it takes. Sorry SDY just sick of the flat out bullshit the establishment is pulling and started typing.

Peace out.

With 20-20 hindsight, it would have been a *REALLY BAD* idea to say anything to any press off the record. It gives them the opportunity to characterize what you said in an unflattering way and leave you with the option of letting that characterization stand or asking them to release it. I'd bet The Donald won't make that mistake again.

From the ground, the reporter started kicking at the agent.

Reporter got up, and said you grabbed me by the throat, and then grabbed the agent by the throat.

They took the reporter out of the rally.

With as tense a situation as a primary rally might get right now, it is reckless to defy SS. Reporter got what he deserved.

I feel you, we are getting a little crazy putting Cruz's name in here when the entire media left and right and the entire establishment are attacking him.

loganspawn,

all good here.

This election has caused some bad feelings in my immediate family. The person I have known longest in life told me he could never vote for Trump. This is from a hard core conservative.

I hope we all come together by November. Hillary Clinton looks very "beat-able".

Amen, it's time to lead this country and toss the trash in jail and out.

Trump, Cruz it's all good for me. They need to unite now and get the attack against the Dems going!

All the more so when even NPR has posted a story about having economists review the candidates plans and basically all of them say Bernie's plans are "no-gos" and a bunch of Hillary's plans are "debatable", which is about what they gave most of the Rs, so if Hillary is getting a non-committal story from NPR, it's telling.

I am beginning to seriously believe, after months of this childish run for president by most of the candidates, is the dueling process.

We either would have the luckiest president, or the best shot for president, and maybe be rid of some liberal Democrats who have never fired a pistol!

I just read Trump has some kind of a complex with his hands because of an article in the 80s. People can't help how they look, so while Trump opened the door by mocking Rubio's height, Rubio is really nasty to go after him for that.I'm not a fan of Trump, but that is nasty. Rubio is starting to show a bit of his true nature and seems to be enjoying this.

This is a letter sent to the Republican establishment by a gun writer.

Dear Representative,

From the time I was able to vote I voted republican. I am 80 and have a great deal of respect and influence with hundreds of senior ball players who also network with thousands of others around the country.

I received your questionnaire and request for money and strongly agree with every question as I have since Obama was elected. Unfortunately the one question that was missing is “What has the Republicans done for the American people?” We gave you a majority in the House and Senate and you never listened to us. Now you want our money.

You should be more concerned about our votes not our money. You are the establishment which means all you want is to save your jobs and line your pockets… Well guess what? “It’s not going to happen” You can shake in your boots when I tell you our movement is for TRUMP and he hasn’t asked for a dime.

You might think we are fools because you feel Trump is on a self destruct course but look beyond Washington and listen to the masses. Nobody has achieved what he has, especially in a state of New York.

If you really want to know how the majority of people feel,...and this applies to both Democrats and Republicans, read below, it says it all.

Sincerely,

John

You've been on vacation for two weeks, you come home, and your basement is infested with raccoons. Hundreds of rabid, messy, mean raccoons have overtaken your basement. You want them gone immediately… You call the city, four different exterminators but nobody could handle the job… But there is this one guy and he guarantees you to get rid of them, so you hire him. You don't care if the guy smells, you don't care if the guy swears, you don't care if he's an alcoholic, you don't care how many times he's been married, you don't care if he voted for Obama, you don't care if he has plumber's crack...you simply want those raccoons gone!

You want your problem fixed! He's the guy. He's the best. Period Here’s why we want Trump: Yes, he's a bit of an ass, yes he's an egomaniac, but we don't care. The country is a mess because politicians suck, the Republican Party is two-faced and gutless, and illegals are everywhere. We want it all fixed!

We don't care that Trump is crude, we don't care that he insults people, we don't care that he had been friendly with Hillary, we don't care that he has changed positions, we don't care that he's been married three times, we don't care that he fights with Megan Kelly and Rosie O'Donnell, we don't care that he doesn't know the name of some Muslin terrorist.

This country is weak, bankrupt, our enemies are making fun of us, we are being invaded by illegal's, we are becoming a nation of victims where every Tom, Ricardo and Hasid is a special group with special rights to a point where we don't even recognize the country we were born and raised in.

"AND WE JUST WANT IT FIXED" and Trump is the only guy who seems to understand what the people want. We're sick of politicians, sick of the Democratic Party, Republican Party, and sick of illegals. We just want this thing fixed.

Trump may not be a saint, but he doesn't have lobbyist money holding him, he doesn't have political correctness restraining him, all you know is that he has been very successful, a good negotiator, he has built a lot of things, and he's also not a politician, he's not a cowardly politician. And he says he'll fix it. And we believe him because he is too much of an egotist to be proven wrong or looked at and called a liar.

Also we don't care if the guy has bad hair.
We just want those raccoons gone.
Out of your house.
NOW.

41 Big Grin Big Grin No truer words were spoken by a gun writer.

I watched the Tapper interview early Sunday morning. It was clear that the soundbite was coming.

But, during the questioning, Tapper asked Trump to "say that you don't want his vote and that of other white supremacists in this election."

Tapper then mixed in other groups and said "there are these groups and individuals endorsing you. Would you just say unequivocally that you condemn them and you don't want their support?"

I believe there was a reference to the Anti Defamation League who have, for instance, identified Christian and other groups to be as condemnable as the KKK. The Southern Poverty Law Center has extended the condemnation into the mainstream. Violence is certainly worthy of condemnation but should they be told to not vote?

Trump said: "You may have groups in there that are totally fine and it would be very unfair. So give me a list of the groups, and I'll let you know."

It seemed a set-up, gotcha kind of a question path. Trump appeared to smell a rat because Trump seemed wary to agree with Tapper after the initial question.

Should people lose their right to vote or be told to not cast ballots because they are racist? The left and others would have us all believe that people who do not pass a racial litmus test should not even be involved. As obnoxious as the KKK is, for instance, should they be told by a candidate not to vote?

That is what Tapper asked Trump to tell them. Tapper asked Trump to tell American citizens not to vote. No one demands that black leaders or other candidates tell Farrakhan or BLM voters to not vote. Such voters are equally as obnoxious as the KKK to many in the electorate.

Isn't it kind of hard to ask a candidate to tell certain people to not participate in the voting process - especially where the Anti Defamation League is noted as the determiner of who is worthy of the franchise?

The notion of civil liberties is that each person may cast their vote for reasons of the voter's own choosing. Asking Trump to tell any voter or groups of voters to not exercise their voting rights is, seemingly, not a valid proposition from a constitutional point of view.

If people can't vote, they will tend to boil over in violence to express their views. Having all participate in voting is a safety valve for society.

Although "gotcha" marches on, we will never address some of the issues of race if we allow the press or operatives to just categorically disenfranchise groups, even obnoxious ones.

Tapper went on to say later that Trump's alleged racism will ensure the Republican nomination because that's Tapper's set-up for the coming leftist campaign.

Amid Trump surge, nearly 20,000 Mass. voters quit Democratic party

quote:
Nearly 20,000 Bay State Democrats have fled the party this winter, with thousands doing so to join the Republican ranks, according to the state’s top elections official.

Secretary of State William Galvin said more than 16,300 Democrats have shed their party affiliation and become independent voters since Jan. 1, while nearly 3,500 more shifted to the MassGOP ahead of tomorrow’s “Super Tuesday” presidential primary.

Cruz just called for Trump to ask the NY Times to release the tape. Mark Levin said something similar that he should should call their bluff if there is nothing to hide. My question is will any of you even care if he did say that about immigration? It sounds like another brouhaha going no place either way.
