That's exactly right. No man, and that includes the Pope, can know what is in another man's heart in regards to his faith. It is fair to make a judgment that someone is not acting in a Christian way, but it is disingenuous to say the least and the height of conceit to proclaim another not Christian. The Pope of all people should know better than that. He has support because there are about 5 times as many Catholics on the South side of the proposed wall than there are to the North. Beyond that, there are a fair number of US Catholics who are very much on board with the "social justice" movement that he espouses. | |||
