How many middle eastern "refugees" has the Vatican accepted this year?

Precisely the question I was about to ask.

What about the Vatican's money. That would ease a lot of suffering.

What about "a lot of things" in the Catholic Church. Do a little reaserch into the Chicago Archdiocese and a priest named Phleger. Then ask the qustion again.

Did Beck really say this? Is there a source for this? Or are you referring to Beck's support of Cruz and dislike for Trump?

Just curious.

Money? Money doesn't begin to describe it. They have treasure and loot going back to the Crusades. Immeasurable wealth and splendor girded by a 40 foot wall.

I wish the God of the Old Testament really did exist. When the Pope uttered that stunning hypocrisy about the wall, He would have zapped Francis right on his beanie capped noggin. Fried him right on the spot. Leaving only a black smudge on the ground and, for comic effect, the little white beanie.

Hey Comrade Popeski,

Here is the 50 foot wall around the Vatican:

Now tell us how many refugees are living in the Vatican...Come on Pope, spit it out.

Pope Francis attacked Republican front-runner Donald Trump Thursday as “not a Christian.”

He can say Trump isn't Catholic, but he has no authority whatsoever to say he isn't a Christian.

That's exactly right. No man, and that includes the Pope, can know what is in another man's heart in regards to his faith. It is fair to make a judgment that someone is not acting in a Christian way, but it is disingenuous to say the least and the height of conceit to proclaim another not Christian.

The Pope of all people should know better than that. Shame on him.

The Beck comment was read a few days back on a Drudge link IIRC. I just remember shaking my head when I read it.

Then I bought emergency food rations and gold. Big Grin

I'm Catholic but this Pope really disappoints me.

How can you say another man is not a Christian? How can you criticize a wall when you have a gigantic wall?

I really dislike hypocrites.

Stick to praying and abandon your political agenda.

The dangers of a religious leader jumping into a political race is that they will drive more of their flock away from church than they will to a voting booth.

I'm staying optimistic he'll be Prez and a good one at that. But even if he doesn't go all the way I hope Trump continues to be a powerful political force for many elections to come.

If the Pope wants to interject himself into American politics, perhaps greater attention should be given to the non-profit status of the church here.

Amazing comments from the Pope- considering Vatican City is 100% surrounded by massive walls.

"Kings" and Popes fighting for power and influence. This is kind of old school.

It's not that I like Trump- It's I dislike everyone who has spoken out against him and don't trust their motives.

I look for Trumps numbers to rise, & the popes to fall.

What a hypocritical douschebag. How can Catholics defend his statement, or even the idea behind it, if not building walls?

He has support because there are about 5 times as many Catholics on the South side of the proposed wall than there are to the North.

Beyond that, there are a fair number of US Catholics who are very much on board with the "social justice" movement that he espouses.
