I really love the people that infer that I am asleep at the wheel for liking Trump...I can assure them that I am not asleep, I am fully awake, and I can see where this country is heading.

And if it were not for Trump, we would be heading there faster. Most likely at the hands of their own 'chosen' conservatives.

Do I think Trump is a conservative? Nope. Does Trump have ideas I may not agree with? Yup. Am I being fooled by Trump? Nope. Please quit telling me I am. You are not that smart.

Open eyes, insert reality.

Sorry, all I heard was "yada yada yada", "gop", "get in line with the establishment", "he's not our republican" etc etc...

I'm not stupid, I'm not in some political fairy tale. I've stated on this forum before that I have never voted for someone who wasn't the lesser of two evils, ever.

I'm a Cruz guy, but I have fallen inline with the idea that if as a republican I want change, or at least for the bleeding to stop, as Para has explained a few times now and I agree with him, Trump is the only answer we have. Take it or leave it.

I just heard the cast of The Five on Hannity and it was "Rubio had a great night" or "Rubio is peaking in Iowa at the right time". Since when is Rubio peaking in Iowa? He was always in contention to be 3rd or 4th, but what? It's like everyone is following the same establishment talking points. I don't think he wins, but it bothers me.

Did you miss the info release about how FNC is so deeply involved in influencing the upcoming election? Smile

From the top down FNC is liberal. Which means they are anti-anybody who does not kowtow to them and their agenda.

My wife has liked the idea of trump running since 2008. At the time we lived in seattle, 2012 rolled along and we lived in ct and she worked down town nyc. I happened to remember more of trumps political shenanigans than she does. Because of that I was less than enthused by his boisterous proclamations.

At the start of the summer I was very skeptical of Trump really giving two shitz about the same areas of concern as I have. My wife was not, she kept telling me times had changed the political land scape had moved .

Yeah he was running his mouth saying the things he thought would get the most traction and publicity. I shrugged it off as showman ship. As time goes by, not only does he repeat and expand on his ideas, he lays down the fundamentals of getting them done.

I don't see my boy Rand doing that. He is whining about funding arabs, I don't see carson doing that he is talking about a flat tax idea of 15%, when we would need 25% to cover our debt. Christie is holding finger to the wind and not saying shit. Rubio is running from his immigration voting history. Jeb is off spending money like a expat prince. Cruz, well he is taking it to Trump, and focusing on what the country needs doing as he sees it. I can not shake the feeling that he is running the 2008/2012 campaign again.

There in lies the rub for me. I see trump looking, designing and encouraging moving forward. Yeah I don't like all of it, even some of his past stances. Yet he is open about it, repeats his plans for something new.

I find I am liking Trump more and more. I like what he is for, and what he is not. I don't need a defeatist Republican of the 1990's. I don't want a statist republican of the 2000's. I want a man in the white house who will encourage work, remove bullshit red tape, reign in government beurocracies and their administrations, that will prosecute crimes, that will remove those here illegally, that will protect the idividuals rights. That is why I am now thoroughly encouraged by Trump.

I look at FNC in a significantly different way than I did a week ago. A month ago. 6 months ago. I guess thats a good thing actually.

I like Bill Wittle. I heard much more than that.

My enthusiasm for the things I like about Donald Trump does not blind me to the things I do NOT like about Donald Trump.

This fight amongst ourselves is destructive; Donald Trump supporters are not the enemy; it's the commies.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Why don't the Demonrat candidates attack and rip each other apart like the republican candidates? We are our own worst enemy. By the time we select a candidate we have so much shit that has been flung internally is smells like a God damned pig farm. Mad WTF republicans!?

If only GOP candidates would attack democrats with the same level of energy and animosity.

Well there are plenty of flames that could and should be fanned during the Democratic debates. The press could generate a fire storm on just the email scandal, but at the very least some old video of Hillary flip flopping on issues is in order. Unfortunately I just won't hold my breath waiting for this to happen.
Sorry there seems to be a pretty tight friendship in place between the party and the MSM.

It helps when they don't have controlled opposition feeding their news to them.

People wake up. I am actually tickled pink and have been waiting for people to understand FOX is a sham.

All part of the Left, Right prop up game.

They helped give us Romney and McCain what a great job at screwing us.......

For Years, Trump's Charity Gave Veterans Little More Than Peanuts.

So say the folks at the Weekly Standard and many of the Trump haters.

It turns out Trump has been generous with veterans over the past decades–all it takes is a little more research than those with an ax to grind seem willing to do.

Flashback: Trump Saved NY Veterans Day Parade Marking 50th Anniversary of End of WWII

Here are a few of the highlights.

UPI reported in 1995 how Trump was credited with ‘saving’ the New York Veterans Day Parade.

This was not Trump’s first time supporting the New York Veterans Day Parade. In 1987 Trump gave $1 million to help the parade when it was in transition, according to a history of the parade reported by Business Insider in 2013.

Trump gave $1 million to help fund the New York City Vietnam Veterans Memorial Plaza located in Lower Manhattan, reported the New York Times in 1985.

And lets not forget Thursday night Trump held a rally for veterans in Des Moines, Iowa that raised over $6 million, including $1 million from Trump, that will be given to 22 veterans groups across the country.

We can yak all we want, but the public wants a wall, wants to ban Muslims, wants Obamacare gone, and wants their country to be great again.

You're clearly mistaken. I have repeatedly heard that Trump only cares about Trump. If he in fact donated any money to any of these groups, it was only due to some ulterior motive.
