I think Cruz scares them even more. He's the thinking mans Trump. Holds many of the same views as Trumps and knows how the inside works and perhaps more importantly he can't be out debated.
He's sharp as a razors edge and if he takes a take no prisoners approach to Hillary in the debates he could have her hyper ventilating in the first ten minutes of a debate.

The establishment and the money are going to be lining up behind Rubio before long imo.
Rubio is palpable enough for them and to a lot of conservative voters.
Just not palpable enough for me. Rino in waiting if I ever seen one.

If the douche waste product Reince Priebus and Romney's slow step-child Paul Ryan are reduced to spooning over this, Trump is striking the right chord. He's taking the dialog to an extreme that might move the squishy middle toward some action on threats against our very existence.

But don't get me wrong, give me Ted 'til I'm dead. Go Cruz!

we are under NO obligation to accept refugees

and if we do, it should be on OUR terms, and not theirs

we also have the right to say NO - and we should do that a lot more often

if someone wants to come here, they shpuld bring something with them that is useful to the country - doctor, I shudder to say it but lawyer, engineer or scientist

simply wanting to leave your home country is not a good enough reason for us to simply let you in

what do you bring to the table so that you will not be a financial burden to the country? If the answer is nothing, you don't get in.

this 'refugee' crap is a red herring issue, and I agree with Trump but go one step further

we don't need to vet any of them

we can save all that time and money

we just say NO

^^^^^^ I agree 100%! We do not need or want any of them. They can bloom or die in their own country!

You have to give Trump credit as he forces us (USA) to have a conservation about our problems and actually deal with them head on. Kudos for Donald J Trump!

Another of the children, this time son Donald Jr., made an appearance. Like Eric, who I commented on earlier, he seemed a really nice, approachable guy.

I'm loving it that Trump does not back down or apologize. He has no reason to!

Immigration is the defining issue of this generation. Right now, we let anyone come here that wants to, legally or illegally. We are importing millions of Democrat voters, from other countries, who do not want to assimilate, & worse. We are allowing our country to be taken over by foreigners.

Trump's firm stance on immigration issues is reasonable, & good for our country.

I'm shocked at the number of Republican (almost all of them) that refuse to stand with Trump on immigration. Any Republican that doesn't think we need to stop illegal immigration & actually "vet" legal immigrants makes me sick.

This may be the wedge that splits the Republican Party.

If Trump has dome nothing else, he's managed to build a concensus between democrats and republicans. Both parties see Trump upsetting their golden applecart and they're terrified.

The talking heads this morning are beside themselves showing clips of pols the world over denouncing him. He must be doing something right.

I heard a figure yesterday that the media spent something like 20 hours nonstop covering Trump. Even the Prime Ministers of France and England chimed in. Trump really struck a chord this time.

Throughout the years when America was in need Great Men have stepped forward to lead. If Donald Trump is our George Washington or Abraham Lincoln so be it. He turns their slings and arrows into gold.

Yeah I'm looking forward to voting for him.

You can't destroy what's already gone. If the Republican party can't see what's going on with the American voter and adapt to it, maybe they need to be extinct.

What is most clear about Trump's success is that he is a man of action. His campaign took off because he said that he would build a wall. The other candidates hem and haw, they scratch their heads, "Well, it's very complicated...." Trump says he will build a wall. Now he will stop letting Muslims into the country. Again, the others have a lot to say, "It's not who we are," "Most Muslims are peaceful," blah blah blah. Trump will stop them from entering.

There is a reason the MSM is so hellbent to destroy him. Along with the Democrats, and the Republican establishment. The fact that he is rude and bombastic is the least of it. They have put together a government against the people, in which they do exactly what they want to do for their own enrichment and power, without "the people" getting in the way. Obamacare and the open border are two of many examples. The elites of both parties, the MSM, corporations, the Chamber of Commerce, lobbyists, fat cat donors-- they have a good thing going for themselves in Washington. Some call them "the Washington cartel." And Trump threatens their whole enterprise.

He can afford good security, and I hope he has the best that money can buy. He dealt with the mob when he got going in real estate in NYC, so he knows-- I hope-- what he is up against. Make no mistake, these are ruthless people, worthy of the term "cartel."

There is nobody like Trump. We can't lose him. America can't lose him.

I'm tired of the Republican mantra "Vote for us, we're not as bad as those other folks." Trump is giving people someone to vote FOR.
